These days every celebrity seems to have a pair of Air Jordan retros in their closet somewhere, but not too many of them are representing for the new age releases from the likes of the Jumpman. Rihanna becomes the latest to pop up in the Air Jordan 2012, proving that her closet is more than just limitless pairs of “Playoffs” Air Jordan XII’s. The pair in question does keep things in line with the Bulls combos though, with Rihanna selecting the ‘Bred’ version that hit a few months back. It took a while for it to show up, but looks like Rihanna of Jay-Z’s camp finally whipped our her own pair of the Air Yeezy 2 during this past weekend’s BBC Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend in London! The Barbadian pop singer has gained her own notoriety as one of the more notable femme fatales of the in the celebrity sneaker game, wearing a wide variety of shoes like the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Collection, Reebok Chi-Kaze, and Air Jordan XII ‘Playoffs’. Did this pop starlet pick up an Air Jordan habit from her old hubby? These recent photos seem to suggest so, with Rihanna making a quick trip out to New York for the Time 100 Gala, hitting the streets during her downtime in the the Air Jordan XII ‘Playoffs’ retro (fresh out of the box with the hangtags on and everything) that sparked many a lineup just last weekend. The celebrity set continues to show support for Jeremy Scott’s off the wall designs, with songstress Rihanna being the latest to lace up in one of his crazy creations. Her sneaker of choice was the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Leopard, one of the easy standouts from his latest 2012 capsule.
