Rip Hamilton has more pairs of the Air Jordan V “Grape” than you. No seriously, a lot more. Shown here is Rip Hamilton harvesting the fruits of his Jordan Brand connection (Which apparently also includes apparel-check the five panel), enjoying 21 pairs of the upcoming retro release. Apparently he’s not keeping the goodies all to himself, as the “Grapes for the Fam” Instagram caption suggests that he’s spreading them around a bit. Richard Hamilton’s ties with Jordan Brand can be traced back to his days as the scoring guard for the UConn Huskies – although during those collegiate years, he wasn’t an official representative of the brand. Once he reached the NBA, however, Rip was quickly tapped by JB and has worn some sick Air Jordan and Team Jordan PEs along the way – certainly you’ve seen his Air Jordan PEs featured on Sneaker News from time to time. More recently, Rip’s stuck with Air Jordan Retros, like the upcoming Air Jordan IV White/Cement; the shoes dont’ drop until a few days after Valentine’s Day, but it’s no surprise that the Bulls guard has ‘em early.
