We’ve seen Ronnie of MTV’s The Jersey Shore show off his sneaker selection before, but for the most part his footwork up to this point has remained within the lines of Jordan Brand. Not anymore, as he recently switched to a regimen of Gym Tan Yeezy, wearing arguably the most coveted pair in terms of secondary-market value in the form of the black/pinks at the opening of LA nightspot AV. Celebrities gathered over the weekend in Los Angeles to celebrate the highly anticipated release of Lil’ Wayne’s fourth studio album titled ‘Tha Carter IV’. Attending the event were some of the most notable names in the hip-hop and pop-culture scene, like Rick Ross, Drake, DJ Khaled, Tyga, Ronnie from Jersey Shoe, and many more. Air Jordans and sneakers have been considered ‘proper attire’ for events like these for quite a while, which is why we spotted some great kicks during the get-together, like the Air Jordan XI Cool Grey, the Air Jordan VI ‘Infrared’ and the Nike Dunk High ‘Osaka’. The Dunks were worn by Ronnie, who displayed an impressive rotation of sneakers during filming of Jersey Shore; the Dunk High ‘Osaka’ which dropped back in 2008, is quite rare in the states, and Flight Club could very well be where Ronnie picked ‘em up because a size 10 just got snatched up from there just two weeks ago. MTV began filming of the fourth season of Jersey Shore not long ago, and cast-member Ronnie already garnered attention in the gossip spotlight as he was allegedly involved in fisticuffs with fellow house-mate ‘The Situation’. While Ronnie’s character has been under heat, he’s also been in heat, because he’s enjoying his time in Florence rocking some sweet Air Jordans. Ronnie’s been seen wearing general release Nikes and Jordans during the first seasons, but he’s apparently been bit by the Air Jordan bug because so far, he’s been rocking the Air Jordan XI (both Space Jam and Concord), the Air Jordan VII Bordeaux, Air Jordan XIII from the Collezione Package, the Air Jordan IX Citrus, and even threw in some Infrared Spiz’ikes.
