Saucony has been pretty busy teaming up with stateside shops in their recent history, as spots like Bodega and Packer Shoes have been touching up their models on a consistent basis. This time around they’re linking up with a label you might not be as familiar with. That would be Italian line The Editor, who have upgraded a pretty big group of the Saucony Jazz with an interesting bedazzled sort of look. Hit the jump with us to get a look at the project, which includes 13 separate colorways at the moment, and let us know if you approve of The Editor’s take on the Saucony Jazz.

saucony spring 2013 preview Saucony Spring 2013 Preview

It’s been a long time since we checked in on the inline catalog for the likes of Saucony, the collaborative pairs holding it down for the revived runner brand pretty well. This 2013 crop balances things out a litte bit, with their team flexing their blocking prowess on a trio of silhouettes. Included are the Saucony Grid 9000, Saucony Master Control, and the Saucony Jazz. The Grid 9000 pairs end up as the most diverse, thankfully taking hold of all the little pieces available on the still techy looking silo. We’ve got the full photos set after the jump, so check that out and look for this Saucony release from Overkill early next year.

You saw some Saucony collab drops pay homage to the history of tech and trail sneakers recently, but as of now they’re taking a sharp left turn and getting decidedly more earthy with this group produced in conjunction with White Mountaineering. The silhouette selected is the Saucony Jazz O, with the colorways applied to each pair in the trio pretty toned down from what we’re used to seeing from the line, along with some patterned tongue labels that give them that sort of warm and fuzzy outerwear appeal. Click through with us for an aerial view of the upcoming White Mountaineering x Saucony Jazz O set and stick with Sneaker News for word on where and when to purchase.

Commonwealth x Saucony Jazz Low Pro

DMV’s Commonwealth was among the Mid-Atlantic’s sneaker boutique pioneers, so it’s a curious fact that we’ve not seen any collaborations with their name attached for nearly two years now.  And though this new release comes from a different brand and sport than their Pump20s, this Commonwealth x Saucony Jazz Low Pro does indeed bear a resemblance to C’MON’s Reeboks.  That’s thanks to the tonal application of navy, grey and olive green atop a red rubber sole, a clean look that the all-grey Pump Bringbacks can be seen to foreshadow.  Click through so you can see more of each pair, let us know which is your favorite and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their availability.  via SF

The Elite capsule produced in conjunction with Boston’s Bodega has proven to be fellow New Englanders Saucony’s most significant releases over the past year; will US sneakerheads take notice of this new collabo with the Russian boutique Anteater?  Following the 8 Amsterdam Shadow 6000s comes the new Anteater x Saucony Jazz O in a colorway so neutral, practically no wardrobe combinations are off limits.  These Jazz Originals go with tonal grey in the tried and true suede and nylon combo plus white-on-wheat speckles on the branding, laces and outsoles.  Click through to see more images of this 120-pair run and expect them at later this month.  via SF
