The most recent team up between Solebox and Saucony won’t be a strictly German affair in terms of retail availability, as the pinkish pair from the group can be had at worldwide Saucony doors. The sneakers from the ‘Three Brothers Pack’ are indeed finding their way around the world, and have most recently landed at Extra Butter out in Long Island. As it turns out the Hanon x Saucony project is one that smashes two separate Saucony retro models together into one brand new silhouette (A precedent set by Bodega’s earlier hybrid movements). The Saucony Master Control upper is planted on top of the Saucony Shadow 5000 sole kit. As far as materials go they’ve selected a mixture of pig suede, full grain leather, satin, and 3M. Continue reading for the first full look at this fiery pair (one whose colorway kind of looks like an extension of that last Hanon collab) that will be releasing at Hanon on Saturday, March 2nd.

In a sneaker market where everything is available everywhere, it’s kind of refreshing to see a bonafide exclusive every once in a while. The new Solebox x Saucony ‘Three Brothers’ pack has a couple of those in its midst in the form of the green and orange Saucony Shadow 5000 colorways included. Those two pairs will launch exclusively at Solebox (instore and online) on February 16th, while the purple will make its way to a couple more international spots (including Hanon, Foot Patrol, Oki-Ni, End, Crooked Tongues, SneakersNStuff, Shoe Chapter, 24 Kilates, and more) on February 23rd. The Big Apple’s own West NYC showed that they’re a force to be reckoned with in the sneaker collaboration game last year with their New Balance MT580 ‘Alpine Guide’ release. And they’re stepping up to the plate once again, this time taking on a silhouette from the likes of Saucony. The silo in question looks to be the Saucony Shadow 5000, a model that’s been touched on by Play Cloths and Solebox as of late. The team over at Solebox has stayed plenty busy in the last few months. Following their collaboration with the Three Stripes at the tail end of 2012, they’re back doing work on Saucony’s series of revived runners. Pictured here is the second iteration of their ‘Three Brothers Pack’ which hinges on the Saucony Shadow 5000. The sibling sneakers go with green, purple, and orange respectively-all blocked off with the same bits of grey draped over the silo. You’d think that the Play Cloths boys Pusha and Malice would be holding out for a Bape collaboration given the extent to which they’ve obsessed over Nigo’s creations during their career. Such is not the case, as they’ve instead teamed up with Saucony to crank out two gaudy versions of the Saucony Shadow 5000 silhouette. Pictured are the pairs from the ‘Precious Medals’ pack, one silver and gold (and both adorned with some slick starred embossing down on the front end). The first running shoe collaboration from a brand born of two rappers who stand out as some of the most clever wordsmiths during an era of hip-hop dominated by cartoonish themes, Play Cloths reveals their blingy ‘Precious Metals’ Saucony Shadow 5000s. Metallic gold or silver with starry toes that’d make WHIZ Limited proud, Play Cloths’ Shadow 5000s will show off co-branded tongues at select retailers later this season, and you can more of see both pairs together after the jump.

Christmas Eve gave us our first look at the Play Cloths x Saucony Shadow 5000, and now a week later, we see that the metallic theme isn’t just a colorway, but a pack of at least two. This new revelation was appropriately shown off by Gold Gang Records CEO Trinidad James. The ‘All Gold Everything’ rapper is well suited to this star-perfed gilded Shadow 5000; do these follow the traditional rankings and top the silver for best pair in this style?
