You saw some Saucony collab drops pay homage to the history of tech and trail sneakers recently, but as of now they’re taking a sharp left turn and getting decidedly more earthy with this group produced in conjunction with White Mountaineering. The silhouette selected is the Saucony Jazz O, with the colorways applied to each pair in the trio pretty toned down from what we’re used to seeing from the line, along with some patterned tongue labels that give them that sort of warm and fuzzy outerwear appeal. Click through with us for an aerial view of the upcoming White Mountaineering x Saucony Jazz O set and stick with Sneaker News for word on where and when to purchase.

Was the Sneaker Freaker team going for a subtle WWF tribute with their tenth anniversary pair with Saucony? Probably not, but the guys at Extra Butter decided to make the connection anyway, cranking up the nostalgia factor on this special Saucony Grid 9000 release by showing them side by side with the Bushwhackers of WWF fame (sorry folks, sold separately). If you were onsite at Sneaker Con this weekend you know by now that EB is one of the select spots here in the US to get their hands on this beautiful minty collabo, so act fast if you want to add them to the collection. Click through with us for some more angles of the Sneaker Freaker x Saucony Grid 9000 ‘Bushwhackers’ and get in touch with Extra Butter to make your purchase.

Last week, we brought you a sneak peek at the latest Packer Shoes collaboration – a dynamic duo of Saucony Grid 9000′s dubbed the ‘Trail Pack’. The Grid 9000 model made some quick fans last year when it returned as part of the Bodega collection, and now the Packer crew gives the super-comfy runner a fresh new look for spring, equipped with a juicy blend of colors and materials. One pair sports an army green/spicy orange color scheme balanced out by light and dark greys, while the other contrasts a light tan base against rich blue with splashes of pink to further electrify the look. Both Packer Grid 9000′s feature a combination of suede, ballistic mesh and ripstop nylon on the uppers, giving the ‘Trail Pack’ a durable make-up that still keeps things breathable and ready to rock all year round. You can check out a detailed gallery of pics after the jump, and look for both pairs to hit Packer Shoes in-store and online next Friday, May 4th with a handful of additional retailers in the U.S. and Europe to follow shortly after.

Over the past few years, Packer Shoes has knocked it out out of the park time and time again collaborating on sneaker projects with a variety of different brands. For their latest collabo endeavor, the NJ shop teams up for the first time with Saucony for a new spin on the criminally underrated Grid 9000 model, which was recently reintroduced to the masses as part of last year’s Bodega collection. Packer‘s offering features two trail-inspired colorways with a complementary blend of rugged base colors and vivid accent pops and a carefully considered combination of materials covering the uppers. Look for these to release in the not too distant future, so check out the teaser pics after the jump for now and stay tuned for more info and images coming soon.

With Saucony and Bodega sharing the same neighborhood, a collaboration was bound to happen. Last year’s Bodega x Saucony Elite collection emphasized great materials and can’t-miss colorways, so Phase Two of this growing partnership had a hefty task in outdoing its predecessor. Here’s a detailed look at the Bodega x Saucony Elite Phase Two, which features the Saucony Jazz ’91 and Shadow 6000; again, the fine materials are in use once again, with a special twist on a midsole given a pre-yellowed ‘vintage’ treatment (that’s the way it should be done). The two tonal joints in grey and red are particularly eye-catching, while the multi-colored affairs certainly do its share to elbow its way into the spotlight. The lone Jazz ’91 has the retro look down to a tee. CrookedTongues has the entire Pack available now, so take a moment to review these new detailed images and let us know what you think.
