Nike Air Max Light “Safari Edition” – Size? Exclusive

The Nike Air Max Light has been the pet shoe of sorts for UK retailer Size?, as the team has already cranked out four colorways of that shoe in the year of 2013. And guess what, they’ve got two more. Shown here are the Nike Air Max Light “Safari” pairs, two that put that print onto the side Swooshes. The teaser leaves the sneakers kind of obscured, but what we can see reveals a sort of Mowabb colorway on the one shoe and a black/pink on the other. Converse Auckland Racer – Size? Exclusives

The Converse Auckland Racer is a sneaker that’s been a little bit slim on the special editions so far. The sneaker has been touched up by the likes of the Missoni team though since it’s recent re-introduction, and sometimes that’s all it takes to light a fire underneath any given silhouette. This time around Size? has a couple of tough to track down color-ups, ones that are in fact exclusive to that retailer. The pairs go for a combo of bright yellow and blue bits, thrown across a classic suede and mesh upper. The two pairs on display, known collectively as the “Easter Editions”, use turquioise and purple, respectively, in an effort to line up with the palette of that upcoming holiday. Size? Paris x Le Coq Sportif Eclat

Resurrected by Foot Patrol earlier in the year and blessed with a trio of new colorways for the second half of 2012, the Le Coq Sportif Eclat once again makes its presence known. This time, it’s in commemoration of a new location for British sneaker specialists, Size?, who just opened a new retail location in Paris, home of the Rooster brand. This collaboration has resulted in an insanely limited 12-pair run that’ll arrive at Size? The success of Nike Sportswear’s Blazer line and particularly the VNTG drops has trickled down to its Class of ’72 lowtop peer, the Nike Bruin. The effect has been so pronounced that there’s even a brand new Bruin Mid finally on the market after all these years, but that new variety won’t stop the backbone of this whole trend. Treated once again to NSW’s lovingly weathered vintage treatment, the VNTG Bruin maximizes its classic vibe with a couple of super-nappy suede colorups that look like a Lakers break-out. Staple x Size? x New Balance 577 “Black Pigeon” – Global Release Info

What was once an expression of the shift in buying patterns that implied businesses could wait nearly eleven months before turning in a profitable year has gradually expanded to campouts for midnight store openings and a general expansion that this year sucked in a bunch of pigeons. Jeff Staple‘s latest riff on his iconic New York-inspired motif dropped there in Reed Space’s hometown along with Size? locations across the Atlantic on Saturday nearly a full week ahead of Black Friday, and will soon hit select additional retailers across the globe. The Staple x Size? x New Balance 577 ‘Black Pigeon’ hits a bunch more stores on December 1st which means STPL has managed to bookend a phenomenally strong week-plus in what appears to be a particularly savvy distribution strategy.
