The oldest basketball silhouette at Nike Sportswear’s disposal has enjoyed quite a bit of attention in recent years, everything from ACG boots, medial-zippered midtops and Lunar-cushioned updates to vintage suede releases and other premium quality drops. This new Nike Blazer High Premium falls squarely into that last category, a Swooshless brown leather design whose understated appeal is matched by the timeless vulcanized sole and its gum bottoms. These are so buttery smooth you’ll end up thinking it’s actually brown that’s the summertime color, and after you’ve seen more images you can grab a pair exclusively from British sneaker spot Size?

We saw plenty of the similarly soled Challenger retros, several Air Waffle releases and a ton of other classic runners resurrected during the time that J.Crew’s collaborative drop was the only Nike Waffle Racer issued. That roughly three-year quiet period ends today with word of a new VNTG series drop that refreshes one of the early Nike designs that got its unique traction pattern from Bill Bowerman’s early ’70s experiments with a waffle iron. One opts for the Oregon Ducks look while another features an equally classic Cal Bears-leaning palette, and both of these 1976 throwbacks will hit Size? with 500 pairs for each colorway next month. Stussy has enjoyed a spike in Sneaker News mentions this week thanks to a collaboration with Converse Japan and a preview from Nike Sportswear that recalls memories of a milestone teamup from a decade ago. When the Stussy x Nike Blazer Mid dropped in 2002, the very concept of collaborative marketing was still in its infancy and the Blazer silo had yet to be fully restored to its rightful place in the Swoosh canon. Just ten years later, we’ve seen the sneakerhead scene evolve in ways we could have never expected, and meanwhile, the trusty ol’ Blazer just ports these classic Stussy-penned colorways over to another (almost identical) silhouette. This grey/green tribute is limited to 500 pairs and they’re moving fast as Size? exclusives.

British sneaker suppliers Size? got an exclusive full grain leather Nike Toki last October, a model that moved so quickly the next set had to be four times as large. The first two of those new designs will drop this Friday, April 20th, Ice Blue and Mint Green designs with tonal piping, eyelets and laces plus contrasting suede tongue tags and white vulc soles. There are only 500 pairs of each color, so even with olive and navy pairs still to be released, you’ll need to act fast to get your pair from Size? on Friday. Of the six leather vintage Blazers Nike Sportswear has released over the past three-plus years, British sneaker suppliers Size? are responsible for two-thirds. Their slice of the pie grows a bit larger today with word of another exclusive colorway, this time on the Nike Blazer Low VNTG silhouette. These are basically a chopped-down version of the HO09 drop that also paired Sail and black. And just as their height is shorter, so is the supply, but as of right now this old school take on early 2012′s signature colorway is available at Size?

Sneaker News previewed an upcoming pack of Nike Sportswear exclusives from Size? back in January, a set that combined four Nike Toki midtops with a duo of All Court Mid designs. We just found out that the All Court’s closest kin in the NSW catalogs will be joining the set, but while Size?’s Blazer Highs go for the Premium VNTG look, these new Nike All Court Mids only hint at that kind of classic appeal with their grainy leather uppers. Blue and green pairs are both accented by soft blue Swooshes, and together create even more connection with the aforementioned VNTG Blazers now that Size? has released a two-pack of each with one more pair of pairs in store for the near future. There’s no release date on these as of this writing, but with the green-Swooshed Blazer hitting Size? on Monday, you can expect these to follow suit soon.

Since the series launched in early 2009, Nike Sportswear’s Vintage Blazers have almost exclusively come in suede uppers to match the rustic look of their oxidized, pre-yellowed soles. The color code for just about every pair has been ‘xxxxx/Sail’, with the off-white shade serving as an antiqued anchor that brings the classic look home, but this latest duo manages to flip the script while still maintaining the VNTG Blazer essence. And with these two new Nike Blazer High VNTG Premium releases, Size? has now authored double as many leather pairs as NSW themselves, these latest pairs a follow-up to last November’s successful two-pack. These will be limited to 500 pairs each, with the green-Swooshed edition arriving online on Monday, February 20th and the purple pair coming up later this year.

British sneaker specialists Size? have racked up quite a few collaborative releases in recent months, and just like the majority of those exclusives, these go for a casual approach with old school sport inspiration. The Size? Nike Sportswear capsule brings us four new Nike Tokis along with two All Court Mids, all crafted in premium leathers and brushed suede, and all occupying the cool part of the color wheel where you’ll find blue, grey and white chillin’ in perfect harmony. Especially with the tonal blue background, this is one of the frostiest sets we’ve seen without overt winter theming, and it looks like we’ll be seeing the 500 pair runs of each design releasing gradually over the next few months.
