We’ve started to see the Nike Mag 2011 pop up on the feet of Kanye, Brian Wilson, Kid Cudi, and sneakerhead Franalations. Would we see one of our Sneaker News readers rock their Nike Mags? Unfortunately, we haven’t seen ‘em just yet, but we’re sure they’ll arrive soon. That’s not to say that this week’s Sneaker News Blogs: Best Of WDYWT is to be overlooked, because we have a ton of great selections from Air Jordans, to Nike Basketball classics – even a pair of Reebok Shaq Attaqs were spotted! The summer season does consist of the hottest months of the year, but would that translate into the hottest kicks of the year? With summer vacation winding down, Sneaker News readers and WDYWT regulars have continued to post some great kicks every week, and the final week of August was certainly one of the best we’ve seen thus far. In selecting the Sneaker News Blogs: Best of WDYWT, the staff does its best to gather the twenty best from the week focusing on diversity, great pictures, and the rarity factor. It just so happens that ‘basketball’ was a recurring theme for this week’s best picks, because we have some great basketball-born sneakers from beginning to end. We’ve got some great rare gems like the Air Bakin’ ‘Air’ edition, which was pulled from shelves, a HWC colorway of the LeBron VII, and the uber-rare Air Flightposite 1 Carbon Fiber. Even Hakeem Olajuwon makes an appearance, so check out the Top 20 below and vote for your favorite at the very end.
