It was yet another solid week for Sneaker News Blogs: WDYWT, as we get a look at the twenty best submissions from the last seven days. Some of the more notables of this batch include some celebrated Nike retros, like the rarely-seen Air Trainer III ‘Viotech’ and the Nike Dunk Low ‘Silver Surfer’, but we were also blessed with an advanced ‘wear’ of the Nike Zoom Kobe VII, a pair of custom Foamposites, and even an OG pair of Air Jordan VIIIs. Happy Halloween, folks! There have been countless Halloween-themed sneakers over the years, but how many of our readers actually decided to wear them during the weekend? Unfortunately, we only spotted a few, but the entire Top 20 for this week was straight heat from front to back! The release of the Nike Mag 2011 has left the sneaker world in a state of uncontrollable elation. It’s a sneaker release that had the CEO and bigwigs of Nike excited to a great degree, and some of our Sneaker News readers who were lucky enough to be in the LA or NY area came out to enjoy the festivities. One Sneaker News Blogs: WDYWT regular even made it out to the Hollywood unveiling while wearing the Air Yeezy (and posed wit the Delorean), but that doesn’t necessarily make it the best submission of the week! In selecting the Sneaker News Blogs: Best of WDYWT, the staff does its best to gather the twenty best from the week focusing on diversity, great pictures, and the rarity factor. It just so happens that ‘basketball’ was a recurring theme for this week’s best picks, because we have some great basketball-born sneakers from beginning to end. We’ve got some great rare gems like the Air Bakin’ ‘Air’ edition, which was pulled from shelves, a HWC colorway of the LeBron VII, and the uber-rare Air Flightposite 1 Carbon Fiber.
