Supra continues to prove they’re not just the ’00s answer to Vision Street Wear, as the Crown brand builds more connections that make them a force to be reckoned with in the skate scene. Ironically, their latest collabo falls just outside that purview, as the SneakersNStuff x Supra Owen ‘Curry’ gives us a premium take on their first casual running style. Crafted in a luxurious leather upper, these add full grain details, metal eyelets and aglets, a bag full of extra laces and dual-branded smartphone case to round out Supra’s most understated and arguably complete collaborative release to date. Click through to see how Sweeden’s Kronor connects to the Supra logo and be ready for the in-store release at select retailers around the world this Saturday, November 17th.

Supra’s ever-growing catalog features a variety of tongue branding and not all that many traditional tongue tags. Erik Ellington’s Diablo is one of the more notable exceptions, featuring a mysterious script on the inner portion whose meaning is less clear than what we saw Friday when Stockholm, Sweeden’s SneakersNStuff teased a new collaboration with Supra collabo. It’s a quick turnaround today, as SNS comes through with a confirmation that their brown leather design for the Crown brand is directly in line with their previous tag team efforts. The SNS x Supra Owen keeps one of Europe’s best boutiques in step with their many classic running collabos, meanwhile bringing Supra some added attention for their first ever casual runner. This luxurious ‘Curry’ leather design features a Tre Kronor debossing on the inner tongue in honor of the Swedish coat of arms and will release in just 365 pairs along with matching leather phone cases, starting in-store next Saturday, November 17th with an online drop to follow on Monday the 19th.

2012′s lineup of collabo Asics pairs just got cut short by a little bit, a little fiasco taking place with the new SneakersNStuff x Asics GT-II ‘The Seventh Seal’ pair. The shoe was released last weekend at the SneakersNStuff spot, with a global release set for tomorrow, the 27th. Only thing is that the majority of pairs crafted up were produced incorrectly, with the back chess piece hit showing up in blue, a violation of the inspired black and white theme. As a result you won’t see these at any other retailers, with the 158 ‘correct pairs’ sold at SNS last weekend being the only ones available. Click through to get SneakersNStuff’s explanation and let us know if you’re lamenting the Asics GT-II cancellation.

Best sneaker ever inspired by Swedish cinema? Seems like a safe bet, with the Swedish shop SneakersNStuff coloring up this Asics GT-II as an homage to Ingmar Bergman’s classic film The Seventh Seal, an extended metaphor of sorts that features the protagonist playing chess with death throughout the film. Color up might not be the right word though, as the pair sticks to a stoic black and white in line with the palette used in the 1950s film. Click through with us for the lookbook shots of this clever collab and keep in mind that this second Sneakersnstuff x Asics GT-II will hit SNS both instore and online on October 20th.

Last time someone from Sweden’s SneakersNStuff headed to New York to create a Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke design, they provided the world with a video tour of the 21 Mercer Bespoke experience. No such clip this time around but the visuals might be even better as Johnny Balle’s Bespokes come through with one of the more luxurious styles on record. Crafted entirely in a rustic waxed leather, these add more golden tones on the sockliner and gumsole, ivory laces hinting at the rare quality on display. Click through to see Johnny’s custom handstyle etched into the heel tab, let us know how these compare to SNS’s earlier Bespokes and head contact the Nike Sportswear flagship store to set an appointment of your own.

The collaborative output from the team at Sneakersnstuff has been sort of a Jekyll/Hyde affair, with the pairs produced ranging from extra bright to solemn and stoic. The new Asics GT-II they’re cooking up, the second time they’ve worked on that silhouette in as many years, is certainly more in line with the toned down category, blocked off with a simple black and white colorway that could be borrowed from the ‘Yin & Yang’ set of Asics Gel Lyte III’s from earlier this year. The suede sneakers do bring in just a bit of patterning, lining the innards with a checkerboard look. Click through to peep the pair and stick with Sneaker News for info on when this Sneakersnstuff x Asics GT-II will arrive. Photos: Tenisufki

You should be familiar with SneakersNStuff by now, as the Swedish purveyors of footwear have been in the business for over a decade serving up goods for the European community (and savvy stateside buyers looking for early drops). The Nike Sportswear team certainly is familiar with them, extending an invitation to the SNS team to head out to the 21 Mercer studio in NYC to whip up some Nike Air Force 1 Low Bespoke designs to their liking. The resulting pairs echo the premium earthy look exuded by previous creations from the Swedes, both caught up in a set of browns and grabbing hold of high end materials like the deconstructed leather and cork options. Click through to check them out and let us know which SneakersNStuff designed Nike Air Force 1 Bespokes you prefer.
