The wristband phenomenon began in the early-mid-2000′s when the LIVESTRONG initiative went from supportive gesture into must-have accessory. Soon enough, those yellow bands were spotted everywhere, uniting the world toward a positive direction (even if some people wore ‘em just to get in on the fun).
