The team over at Solebox has stayed plenty busy in the last few months. Following their collaboration with the Three Stripes at the tail end of 2012, they’re back doing work on Saucony’s series of revived runners. Pictured here is the second iteration of their ‘Three Brothers Pack’ which hinges on the Saucony Shadow 5000. The sibling sneakers go with green, purple, and orange respectively-all blocked off with the same bits of grey draped over the silo. Solebox has been one of the more influential retailers during their ten-year run. A store known for stocking the best in Berlin, Solebox is a collaborative pioneer whose signature element is often a glow-in-the-dark finish. This new Solebox x Supra Skytop III is presented in grey and lime green as based on the storefront’s original aesthetic, and comes to life with phosphorescent touches on the lace cage, heel loop and outsole. Solebox’s sneaker collaborations are often hard to come by thanks to super-limited numbers. Their most recent team effort resulted in only fifty pairs, and those Supra Owens were all gifted to store staff. Regular Sneaker News readers would have recognized a similarity in the colorway in use on those and the Solebox x Supra Skytop III, a model that had been off the radar since its teaser back in August. These Skytop IIIs are now ready for retail, a January 19th release that’s stylish in grey suede with green accents, and carries the store’s luminescent torch by incorporating some glow in the dark mojo to round out the look. The Supra Owen is a collaboration favorite at the moment. First it was Sneaker Freaker who got their hands on the runner and now it’s Solebox. The German masters outfitted their SMU with a nappy grey suede and a little embossed logo hit on the green tongue tags. Always big on cramming in the details, they also came through with a little glow touch on the bottom. Only problem is that they’re not for sale-the entirety of the 50 pair run of the Solebox x Supra Owen ‘Staff’ edition is apparently available via giveaway only. The adidas Consortium category is pulling double duty tomorrow, with the return of the adidas Torsion Allegra marked by both an in-house style and a slick Solebox crafted style. Rather than leaning on any teddy bears, wings, or other wild accoutrements the sneaker plays the retro lane, breathing plenty of new life into this model given the clean blocking served up on both pairs. Solebox’s 10th anniversary celebration continues into 2013 with a reprisal of the Berlin boutique’s first collaboration with Puma back in ’07. It was the Clyde lowtop a half-decade ago, and coming up for the new year will be three Solebox x Puma States that take the Suede lowtop and expound upon that original snake-Formstriped design. Instead of a gold sockliner on a single black design, Hikmet and co. opt for black plus bronze and silver makeups with tonal linings, white soles and the scaley side branding we expect to see from just about every brand for the Year of the Snake. Solebox will drop these about a month before Chinese New Year when 100 pairs of each colorway arrive on January 5th, so have a closer look below and stick with Sneaker News for the latest release dates.

The adidas Torsion Allegra continues to get the special treatment for its retro bringback, with two new pairs about to drop from adidas’ Consortium family. The setup consists of an in-house pair inspired by the Allegra S of 1992 along with a version curated by that cream of the German sneaker shop crop Solebox. The first complete view of the Solebox x adidas Consortium Torsion Allegra is here, fully showing off how Solebox went to work on their latest collabo. The pair features a rather stealthy upper, with the color getting pushed out to the accenting-mixtures of red and green coursing through the outsole, lining, and back pull tab.
