Nike is of course equipping its athletes with plenty of futuristic gear via the various Medal Stand pieces, but they’re also coming with some garments that encourage a bit more homage. Key in that lineup is the Nike Dream Team Destroyer Jacket, intended as a nod to none other the that epic 1992 Dream Team that lit up the international stage in Barcelona two decades ago. Along with the proper USAB logos the jacket also features some nice historical details, like the chest area embroidery boasting the final score of each game they played in the Olympics that year. Click through with us for a better look at the jacket including a video spot featuring the likes of Stalley sporting the piece and let us know how you feel about the Nike Dream Team Destroyer.

Now hold up I ain’t trying to stunt man/but the Yeezys jumped over the Jumpman
That Kanye claim was first made on his recently released track New Gold Flow, appropriately echoed last night as him and the GOOD Music team performed a gang of tracks at the 2012 BET Awards. And while we’re not making any claims that ‘Ye is anywhere close to Mike’s line as far as importance in the sneaker world, you wouldn’t know it by looking at the celebrity crowd in attendance for the award show on the weekend. Kevin Hart wore the Nike Air Yeezy 2 ‘Pure Platinum’ as did Kanye, with Wale and Spike Lee both wearing the ‘Black/Solar Red’ at one point or other. Separating himself from saturation of his second Nike design Kanye even broke out a sample pair of Nike Air Yeezy 1′s to prove his footwear prowess. Of course Wale, self described as “Mr. never wear the same thing” had a nice switch up as well when he brought out some unreleased heat in the form of the Nike Air Penny V ‘Phoenix Suns’. Click through for all the shots of those guys and more including Stalley, Jamie Foxx, and Big Sean after the jump and let us know who had the best sneaker game at the 2012 BET Awards. Photos: Zimbio

Stalley rocked his Playoffs long before the release, and before they’re even scheduled for an official release, it looks like he’s already moved “on to the next one”. Stalley was the guest of honor at 106 & Park recently, performing live and chatting with hosts Rocsi Diaz and Terrence J while wearing the Air Jordan XII ‘Obsidian’, which is currently set for a June release, and a complete Supreme-d out top and on bottom with his customer Cleveland cap. The aforementioned host Terrence J also brought out some kicks, wearing the Jordan Son Of Mars ‘Pop Art’ to match his simple outfit. More on Stalley below, so take a look and let us know what you think! Photos: BET

Nobody reps Cleveland harder than Stalley does, and while he took his vocal talents to South Beach to join Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group, his heart stays in his hometown. Stalley, who is never seen without a Cleveland fitted cap, showed off not one, but two pairs of LeBron 9 Elites – holding the ‘Home’ pair in his hands while wearing the Black ‘Away’ pair on his feet. Stalley’s sneaker stock is certainly on the rise – does this put him over the top of perennial leader and MMG mate Wale? Check out Stalley holding Elites while wearing Elites (yo dawg…) below and let us know where Stalley ranks among hip-hop’s greatest sneakerheads of the current generation.

Cleveland-native Stalley shows off his latest kicks and threads in this latest instagram update of daily wears – this time matching the upcoming Air Jordan XII ‘Playoffs’ with the Kate Moss x Supreme tee, arguably the most coveted apparel item of Supreme’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Even outside of his home-town, Stalley represents his Cleveland roots, but we’re certain he’s enjoying the warm NYC weather as he heads into DBGB Kitchen & Bar for some provisions.
