After the Staple x Puma Clyde “Pigeon” descended on the NYC streets last week, the pair is now ready to spring its wings to a handful of other hard hitting sneaker stores across the world. The pair caused quite the queue outside Reed Space upon their initial arrival, and we’d be surprised if the rest of the globe reacted any differently. You’ll notice that among the retailers stocking the Made in Japan Puma Clyde that Barneys New York is the only other spot listed here in the US, meaning that for stateside heads it will remain a very NY affair. Get the full list after the jump and tell us if you’re trying to get your hands on the Staple x Puma Clyde Suede “Pigeon” from one of these spots.

Some more in depth info and a brand new set of photos have arrive for the Staple x Puma Clyde “Pigeon” design. The Puma Clyde silhouette used for the project is of the “Made in Japan” persuasion, meaning that the sneaker will be clocking in at $200. Also inevitably driving up their desirability: there are only some 500 pairs worldwide. Check out the first in depth images of the Staple x Puma Clyde Suede “Pigeon” right after the jump and watch for these sneaks to release next Wednesday, April 17th at Reed Space in NYC. And if you can’t make it don’t fret too much, as a handful of other spots across the globe will get their pairs in on May 3rd.

The Staple x Puma Clyde “Pigeon” pair will be landing on April 17th. Jeff Staple’s “Pigeon” theme has always been one tied to his NYC locale, a connection that works doubly on this upcoming release given the Puma Clyde’s strong connection with the early hip-hop scene in the Big Apple. As you know from our initial preview of the sneaker, the colorblocking echos the muted grey and red scheme from Staple’s classic riot-inducing Dunk release. Tell us if you’re looking forward to the Staple x Puma Clyde “Pigeon” in the comments and stay tuned for more info.

What do you get when you mix a pigeon and a puma? The answer is this, the Staple x Puma Clyde pair that’s apparently on the way for Spring/Summer 2013. From what we can see via this quick sneak peek photo, the sneaker is very much a resurrection of Jeff Staple’s classic, riot-inducing Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Pigeon’. The grey and red color combo is in place and the heel on the back end even looks to have that feathered icon embroidered in the proper place. Get the full preview of the Staple x Puma Clyde right after the jump and tell us if you’re excited for this upcoming collab in the comments below.

The initial news of the Staple Design x Jordan Brand project whipped up quite a bit of speculation, with folks all around the internet chipping in with their two cents. The official shots obscure the Staple branding but this appears to be the very same one recently previewed by headman Jeff Staple. Two absolute monsters of the sneaker game are about to collide. In one corner: Staple Design, the team behind the legendary, riot-inducing Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Pigeon’. In the other: Jordan Brand (we don’t really need to give you any background on them, right?). This cryptic image was just leaked out from head man Jeff Staple, with the collab looking to focus on the Air Jordan XI thanks to the roman numerals and accompanying dates up at the top of the tag. No word yet on whether it’s a sneaker or just an apparel collection, but heads would no doubt explode if the former were the case. Drop your comments on the project below and stay tuned for the first look at the Staple x Jordan Brand project.

Right around this time last year, there was a teaser circulating of a new Staple x New Balance project, one promising a New Balance 577 in what looked to be ‘Pigeon’ colors. Jeff Staple collaborations perfectly exemplify the ‘quality, not quantity’ idiom. It’s not often we see Jeff Staple team up with a major sneaker brand, but when he does, the term ‘instant classic’ can be attributed. Jeff’s clothing brand ‘Staple’ is the exact opposite of a misnomer, and his famed ‘pigeon’ motif has resulted in some highly-coveted gems like the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Pigeon’ and a duet of New Balance 575s. Much to the satisfaction of sneakerheads worldwide, Staple will once again team up with New Balance – this time on the 577 model. Will it feature the Pigeon graphic once again, or will Staple divert into another direction? The salmon pink color seen here could indicate the return of the unofficial bird of NYC. Check out the teaser below and let us know what you think.
