April 28th, 2011 by | 10 comments

may 2011 nike sb releases summary Nike SB May 2011 Footwear Releases

The month of April was quite an eventful one for Nike SB, starting with the cancellation of the Cheech & Chong release, the release delay/confusion with the White/Black Zoom Janoski Mid, and the debate and discussion surrounding the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Space Jam’. Let’s leave all that controversy behind us and look at the May 2011 releases from Nike SB: a new colorway of the Janoski Mid in Cappuccino/Black and a P-Rod 2.5 inspired by the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Cali’. Not included in this grouping is in fact the Space Jam SB Dunk Low and the Aqua/Skeletor SB Dunk Low, but you can expect those next month as well. Check out the May 2011 roll-out below and stick with Sneaker News for more Nike SB release information as it develops.

nike sb zoom stefan janoski jetstream brickhouse red 02 Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Jetstream Brickhouse Red | August 2011

Sneaker News brings you a look at yet another Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski, this time in the original low version, but in a clean colorway combination of Jetstream and Brickhouse Red. The upper features a Jetstream beige tone in suede paired with Brickhouse Red on the tongue label, boat-shoe style laces, and midsole rim. The inner lining is finished in black for an acute match with the contrast stitching on the toe. Not long ago we showed you a Holiday 2011 release of the Janoski Mid, featuring a rugged yet sleek Waterproof upper, a surefire distinction from this ‘preppy’ pair. Which do you prefer? Another image awaits you below so take a look and let us know what you think, and look out for these at Nike SB retailers this August. via SJanoski.

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid QS – White – Black | Available

All this recent Janoski-related news may have you a bit confused, especially with yesterday’s report of a possible release delay of this new White/Black Mid Quickstrike release. This Mid version is an awesome follow-up to last year’s White Perforated leather Janoskis – arguably the best summer shoe to have been released by Nike SB last season. Luckily for us, news of the release delay may have been slightly premature, because Premier, one of the ‘premiere’ footwear and Nike SB retailers on this side of the hemisphere, just got them in as an in-store only purchase (that’s just the nature of Nike SB’s ‘Below the Line’ releases). We’ve got extra detailed images for you below so stay alert and check your local Nike SB purveyor for a fresh stock of these made-for-summer sneaks!

It’s Janoski season, and here we have yet another preview at an upcoming colorway. This low-top version features a black canvas/denim material on the upper, perhaps the same denim-like material used on the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Denim’ that dropped a few weeks ago, with a dark grey swoosh and brown accents on the lace eyelets as well as on the tongue label. Again, matching these with your outfit should be easy as pie, and the Janoski has proven to be one of the most popular SB models since it first debuted in 2009. Another image awaits you below, so take a peek and let us know what you think.

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski – Team Red – October 2011

nike sb janoski team red october 2011 1 Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Team Red October 2011

Last month, Sneaker News showed you a gruesome Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski whose off-white uppers and insoles were covered in a blood splatter pattern.  Seems like the perfect theme for a Halloween release but they’re slated for Fall 2011, which means somewhere in between July and September (‘fall’ being third quarter).  And today we have a look at another Stefan Janoski Low colorway, this one scheduled for the Holiday ’11 season (aka ‘winter’ or Q4) in an also menacing Team Red suede, slated as an October release as part of the new Nike SB ‘Below the Line’ tier (in-store release only).  They’ll join the black/red Blazer SB we showed you yesterday as part of the ‘Halloween Pack’, so click through for more and let us know how they rank against the Blazers and their bloody brothers.  via N-SB

One-sixth of the calendar year is already behind us, but with passing time comes new releases! Check out the March 2011 Footwear releases from Nike SB; the highlight of the collection is without a doubt the Brickhouse/White Nike SB Dunk Mid with the gumsole, praised by all for its simplicity and lack of superfluous flair. The vibrant red SB Zoom Janoski and the Bog Green Blazer Mid also caught our attention, as did three low-profile skaters in an all new Blazer Low CS, SB P-Rod IV, and SB P-Rod 2.5. Take a look at the entire Nike SB March 2011 Footwear Releases below and watch for these to drop at your local Nike SB purveyor if they haven’t already.

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski – Black – Midnight Fog

February 20th, 2011 by | 2 comments

nike sb zoom stefan janoski black midnight fog march 2011 flatspot 08 Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Black Midnight Fog

One huge (and defining) reason as to why the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski is such a successful shoe is because of its incredible lifestyle appeal and the toned down, muted, and ‘mature’ colorways like this February 2011 release. Black and Midnight Fog with a white midsole is all that this Janoski uses, and the out-of-skate appeal is quite obvious. These go well with a pair of straight jeans, khakis, shorts, and pretty much any sort of pant. The skate/street versatility is why the Janoski is being lifted into a mid-top chukka-style shoe later this year, and we can imagine those being equally successful. Check out some new pics below and cop a pair now at SB retailers like Flatspot.
