Supra is without doubt the most successful new footwear brand of the past quarter-century, having launched back in 2006 and already risen to the heights of ‘major’ label status even as the recession pushed many transient names out of the streetwear market. And while the Crown brand has attracted much attention from young women with their footwear on stars like Justin Bieber and Lil Wayne, they’re only now offering a full ladies footwear line featuring feminine colors and patterns. The centerpiece is the A-Morir x Supra Skytop, the original flagship model worn by Jay-Z so many times in the early going, done in black and chrome sequins for a look not totally dissimilar from those pyramid stud glasses that won the net after Rihanna’s appearance in ‘Run this Town’. Elsewhere, you’ll find glitter, foil, metallic and embroidered embellishments, so click through to see the whole set and hit up Supra for yours today.

Supra has been utilizing abstract pack names for a while now, but this one implies they could keep things up forever. The Supra Skytop III ’Immortal’ alludes to the fact that you couldn’t get a simpler colorway onto a sneaker unless it were fully dipped in black. This timeless style is built in a soft black leather with suede coming in on the ankle, where you’ll find just a hint of grey peeking out from the plush sockliner. If you consider yourself one of the Crown brand’s court, this is a design you can wear until they put out Skytop 33, and it’s available now straight from Supra.

Earlier this week, Supra debuted their new Lux suede material on the Pilot hightop. That model came in Atlanta Braves colors and featured a textured sole that further connected them to the ‘Native’ nickname with which they’ve shipped. And it turns out that they’re not the only such high-contrast navy and red design coming from the Crown brand with that same label: here’s our first look at the Supra Skytop III ’Native’. While they’ve been none too secretive about borrowing popular design conventions and colorways from other major brands, Supra has offered surprisingly few denim sneakers during a period when we’ve seen what was once an extremely rare material, now gobbled up regularly by consumers who demand even more. The Supra Skytop III ’Jade’ steps forward to fill that void, its cream-colored waxed twill upper accented by black on the cage, tongue and heel strap. Vibrant green on the top eyelets and rear midsole give this design its nickname, but while we’ve seen Nike in particular using their own jade greens more often of late, this particular color combination is really quite unique across the entire industry. Is Supra running ahead of the curve of a huge trend with this distinctive palette or will you give them a pass? Let us know after you have another look at these, then grab yours straight from Supra.
