Supra just announced the introduction of its kids collection, and not only did the youngsters depicted in their lookbook get something they can show off to their friends, but they also got new Skytop colorways before anyone else.  Two of the three new Supra Skytops released today showed up first in that kiddie preview, both of which have obvious connections to the 1985 OG Air Jordan 1 styles.  Rounding out this latest trio is a shadowy mix of black TUF and suede and you can see all three up close below before grabbing yours straight from Supra.

Spring/summer 2013 previews from the European tradeshow circuit reveal that the trend will continue into next year, so now’s a perfect time to get with one of the hottest modern trends and add more patterned prints to your rotation.  Everything from floral to wild animal patterns look better thanks to advancing material fabrication methods, and that also goes for looks you’re not ‘supposed’ to see.  The Supra Skytop pictured above is an obvious candidate for a ‘Camouflage’ nickname, but since the Crown brand already released a blaze orange-accented design last holiday, it’s worth noting the black branding that sets this pair apart.  Have a closer look after the jump, let us know which looks better and find this new pair exclusively at Zumiez.

Supra “Moon Pack”

supra moon pack 1 570x379 Supra Moon Pack

SUPRAFOAM is at the heart of the Crown brand’s entire lineup, from the midsoles of their cup soled varieties to the footbeds on traditional vulc builds.  Their Owen runner is squarely in the former category and hinted at what we’re seeing here today, but today marks the first time we’re seeing that lightweight EVA material expressed quite like this.  The Supra Moon Pack takes on the look of Nike LunarLon performance technology with the Supra Skytop Lite and Vaider Lite replacing their vulcanized bottoms with a layered midsole design a la LunarGlide that evenly distributes impact and thereby discourages compression wrinkles.  Both the Skytop Lite and Vaider Lite debut in black Raptor TUF with red soles, so click through to see how this look applies to both silhouettes, let us know how these compare to Nike SB’s Lunar designs and grab yours straight from Supra.

Supra Launches Women’s Footwear Line

FA12 SUPRA Womens Skytop KerinRose Supra Launches Womens Footwear Line

Supra is without doubt the most successful new footwear brand of the past quarter-century, having launched back in 2006 and already risen to the heights of ‘major’ label status even as the recession pushed many transient names out of the streetwear market.  And while the Crown brand has attracted much attention from young women with their footwear on stars like Justin Bieber and Lil Wayne, they’re only now offering a full ladies footwear line featuring feminine colors and patterns.  The centerpiece is the A-Morir x Supra Skytop, the original flagship model worn by Jay-Z so many times in the early going, done in black and chrome sequins for a look not totally dissimilar from those pyramid stud glasses that won the net after Rihanna’s appearance in ‘Run this Town’.  Elsewhere, you’ll find glitter, foil, metallic and embroidered embellishments, so click through to see the whole set and hit up Supra for yours today.

Sneaker Freaker’s ‘Goldenballs’ friends & family collabo is undoubtedly one of the most impressive Supra Skytop IIIs to date, but not to be outdone, Supra has offered up three new designs of their own.  Chad Muska’s latest is available from the Crown brand’s e-store in a few new styles, and one in particular stands out above the pack.  The Caramel Raptor TUF edition pictured above catches our eye both with its perforated base layer and a name that promises tenacity in the face of griptape abrasions.  In the context of this ruggedized approach, despite the darker-than-wheat color, these are even truer to the Timberland inspiration famously appropriated on the original Muska Pro Model.  Let us know how these compare when you click through to see the ‘Caramel’ Skytop III in greater detail after the jump below and stick with Sneaker News for the latest Supra release info.

While arguably Supra should have ‘rolled tide’ on these back in mid-January, there’s no doubting the visual appeal of their latest release.  The new Supra Skytop ’Crimson’ pictured above has a color scheme and nickname that provides a natural fit for the recently crowned NCAA FBS National Champions.  But even during a time when the Crown brand is clearly looking to the cultural calendar for help with its release schedule, these managed to stand on their palette alone.  They’ve got the simple appeal that’s so popular right now, and after you inspect more images after the jump below you’ll find them available directly from Supra.
