The Supra Vaider Low has been a part of the Crown brand lineup longer than every model other than its midtop version and the beloved Skytop. Every release before today featured the classic vulcanized sole, but now with the introduction of the Vaider LC, a new lightweight cupsole option comes into play. Grey suede and nubuck plus yellow and black hits is more energetic but perhaps less longevity-oriented than the all-black Raptor TUF model, but both have their merits and are depicted further below so you can decide which to cop from Supra.

Supra Vaider Low ‘Fade’

Sneaker News recently showed you a new Vaider Mid from Supra that utilized a series of grey tones to give that ripstop canvas design a ‘Fade’ look. That neutral palette served as the base for bright pink branding accents, though you could just as easily imagine almost any vibrant color their place. And with that in mind, this new Supra Vaider Low ’Fade’ is a must, a similar if slightly brighter take on the grey-gradient look that instead of pink hits, opts for an electric green shade. We can’t help but wonder if a blue or yellow/orange pair might have rounded this collection out nicely, and this pair you can see below in greater detail is available right now straight from Supra.

Supra Vaider Low ‘Cross’

About eight months ago, Supra released their ‘Plus Pack’, a trio of skateboarding sneakers unified in their approach to distributing navy blue and white. These three were covered in the kind of crosses you’d expect from the Red Cross or maybe memories of arithmetic homework, and now another of the Crown brand’s lowtops has added a similar detail to its otherwise ‘blank’ appearance. The Supra Vaider Low ’Cross’ arranges its side panel perforations into more of a lowercase ‘t’ than the earlier drops; perhaps you have a chain to match? Supra Vaider Low ‘Scuba’

The Supra Vaider Low isn’t quite as common as its midtop big brother, but one thing the Low is winning so far in 2012 is the race for most royal blue releases. Following up on one that was completely and utterly dipped in royal comes this new ‘Scuba’ Vaider Low that employs a mix of suede and leather in addition to white accents including the vulc sole sidewalls. It’s a build so simple the ‘Scuba’ tag has to apply to its rich blue upper and not any specific deep sea diving details, but no matter the nickname, these have a timeless style that skaters will find available directly from Supra.

Supra Matt Mumford Vaider Holiday 2011 Collection

It should be obvious by now which Supra silhouette team rider Matt Mumford favors the most. The man just dropped a spooky pair of Supra Vaider Lows for Halloween, and we’re back with a look at his expanded Vaider collection for the Holiday 2011 season. Two of the pairs from this pack go hand in hand, with the black and pink colorway almost looking like a Yeezy tribute, which wouldn’t be unimaginable giving the Nike homages we’ve previously seen from Supra. The odd man out colorway wise is the Supra Vaider low in blue suede, which switches out the white foxing for a gum sole look. Supra Vaider Low – Matt Mumford Halloween Edition

The Supra Vaider is one of the crown brand’s longest running silouhettes, an OG Skytop-era peer whose consistent releases have seen a variety of additional designs come and go. It’s typically presented in midtop form, but here’s evidence the Vaider Low can pack an equal punch. They’re crafted in black suede with a blaze orange sockliner in honor of Supra rider Matt Mumford, the colorway an obvious nod to the crazy costume holiday about to go down next Monday. Somewhere in between is the spiderweb-emblazoned footbed that mimics Mumford’s elbow tattoo, its concealment ensuring you can continue to rock these after Pumpkin Day without feeling like the ghost of Halloween 2011 is haunting your every step. Supra Max Pack

Supra has already paid homage to the OG Neon colorway of the Air Max 95 once before, being fairly explicit in their tribute with this Supra Skytop II. Well they’re at it again, this time with the not-so-subtly titled ‘Max Pack’, a trio featuring the Supra Vaider Low, Supra Society, and Supra Cuttler all done up in Neon-esque colors. While the gradient isn’t as pronounced on this set, the core of the recipe is still there: neon yellow paired with a smooth set of greys.
