SUPREME Supreme is a series of skate shops that doubles as a clothing line, first established via their Lafayette location in Manhattan in 1994. Supreme is known for its sought after collaborations with the likes of Vans and Nike, the latter of which has resulted in some of the most coveted sneakers of all time under the Nike SB imprint, most famously the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Supreme’ and Nike SB Dunk High ‘Supreme’.

When New York skate and streetwear boutique Supreme collaborated with Nike SB in 2009, theirs were the first colorways of the Zoom Blazer SB that’s been released pretty much every month since in a new palette. Last year saw the debut of the first ever design-collabo from Swoosh skateboarding, and Supreme’s Nike SB ’94 has stayed off store shelves since it sold out roughly one year ago. Looks like the first and only Nike SB sneaker with Foamposite will be back and perhaps from this latest tag team project we can take that this special design will only release with the red box logo on its tongues. These two new Nike SB ’94s switch it up with nubuck instead of suede, black and wheat versions both treated to a bold red footbed. In a certain very literal way, the most buzzworthy sneaker collaboration of the year, this latest tag-team effort between Supreme and Vans applies an interesting take on a couple of things you never would have pictured together. Fresh new suede and canvas kicks are far from a nuisance and there’s never been a preppy print featuring such a ‘common’ animal inspiration as the new Supreme x Vans Flies Pack. New York’s longstanding Red Box Logo appears on the heels of six new pairs split between the Vans Sk8-Hi and Era, all of which will be available in NY, LA and LDN on Thursday, September 29th followed by a Friday, October 1st drop in Japan.

Supreme and Vans go together like peanut butter and jelly, but if you keep making enough delicious treats that some of them have to remain on your closet shelves, they’re going to attract flies. Check out the newest addition to these two love birds’ latest collaboration, the Supreme x Vans Sk8-Hi done in suede and canvas just like the Eras we first showed you last month. The latter of these materials features a housefly pattern that’s unlike anything we’ve seen from ‘Preme, a funky twist on the classic preppy animal monogram looks that cycle in and out of vogue every so often. These are certainly the most unconventional of a year full of wild animal prints; could they also be the best? Click through to see more and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date. via HB

Hiroshi Fujiwarais one of Nike Sportswear’s longest running collaborators, but we’ve never seen his fragment design label as busy as they are currently in preparation for the fall season. fragment is set to drop a pair of the new ACG Zoom Meriweather boot, a pack of Tennis Classics with velcro straps instead of laces, and four different sets of Nike All Courts. Three of those are lowtops and the above pictured colorway is quite similar to one in use on both fragment Lows and Highs. So with all these black upper/white soled kicks on the way, the dual branding on the Supreme x fragment design x Nike All Court Low helps to keep things clear. This pair adds red laces and heel tabs for a look that’d normally be associated with Chicago, yet in the context of their dual role as billboard, they serve as a reminder that regions are losing some of their local specificity as the global economy unites sneakerheads across borders. The red box logo once again pops up on the heel of one of Vans’ vulcanized sole, as New York’s Supreme has gone Off the Wall with a new pack that’ll have you guessing as to the meaning behind its theme. The Supreme x Vans Era will release in the coming months in a trio of suede and canvas colorways, the latter of which has been adorned with a fly pattern. Literally. We’re not saying they’re not dope, either, because the red/white, navy/lime and black/teal colorways are spot-on, and it really doesn’t matter if a story comes along to justify them since the look is right. Individually, Supreme and Fragment Design are both veterans in the game when it comes to Nike sneaker collaborations, but here we get a look at what happens when all three come together for one project.
