Remember how big of a deal it was when Supreme finally stepped out of the Nike SB category with their Nike Air Force 1 Low creations in 2012? It looks like they’re continuing on down that road this year with the release of the Supreme x Nike Flyknit Lunar1+. The shoe features that Nike Lunar equipped Flyknit runner with a partial logo hit that ends up rather subtle on this particular colorway. No word yet on other palettes hitting the silhouette but we’d be pretty surprised if Supreme only got one pair to work with. See the Supreme x Nike Flyknit Lunar1+ below and watch for the sneakers to release early on in October.

Supreme Fila Original Fitness-Inspired 2002 Sample

Remember that Supreme wasn’t always purely about the collaborations-they also took a stab at an inline footwear range in the early part of the 2000s. Their silhouettes from that era were definitely derivative to an extent-there was even a Nike Air Force 1 looking sneaker in the bunch. Shown here is another tribute of that sort that never happened, a Supreme branded remake of the Fila Original Fitness. Then again there’s not much info surrounding the project so it’s possible they were a collab, but the realm of sneaker collabs was pretty young at the time, plus we can’t imagine the company letting Supreme strip their shoe of all its branding. See the Fila Original Fitness looking pair of Supreme sneakers and give us your thoughts in the comments.

When it comes to sneakers, Bruce Lee is most strongly connected with Onitsuka Tiger, but his name comes up any time a yellow/red colorway connects with that Game of Death vibe.  A few months after that BAIT collaboration on the Tiger OGs, we see the martial arts film star celebrated in the most overt way yet: his face is all over these new Vans by Supreme.  Supreme x Vans Sk8-His and Authentics add the iconic figure’s photos to their sides, and it looks like they’ll be dropping before year’s end, so be sure to check back with Sneaker News for release info after you’ve seen more below.

Supreme’s Vans connection is one that you can expect to rear its head a couple of times for almost every season that the New York skate shop puts out. Indeed they’re back at it for the Summer, whipping up a couple new versions of the lesser-known Vans Lampin silhouette. From the angles we’ve got a hold of, the Supreme branding throughout appears rather minimal, presumably just showing up on the reworked rubber logo hit on the back end. Continue reading to see the first photos of the Supreme x Vans Lampin and watch for them in stores this Summer.
