He has become increasingly involved with the world of sneakers, having been named the creative director of Reebok in 2011. Since then Swizz has been a key player in Reebok’s lifestyle and retro strategies.

The only Reebok Shaq Attaq colorway to have hit stores so far is the OG “Orlando” look, but we’re certain that there are more on their way. In fact, we’ve spotted a very special version in the form of this blinged out look done by one Gabe the Jeweler. Unfortunately they don’t appear to be a retail release, instead they’ve been touted as as charity item. A$AP Rocky is the kind of guy who isn’t afraid to shout out sneakers in his lyrics. Most of the time though he’s talking about a pair of Jeremy Scott adidas or some high end stuff that costs a car payment. Ending up just a little bit more pedestrian, Rocky shows up here with the Air Jordan III on feet in the white/cement colorway. Right by his side Swizz Beatz holds up the high end, wearing some green paisley business from Givenchy. The Reebok Classic line continues to be a collection curated in part by the celebrity power couple of Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz. The latest from the former has just arrived-a group of the brand new Reebok Freestyle Hi Wedge, a remix of the classic Reebok Freestyle Hi silhouette that brings them in tune with the more contemporary wedge-look that’s been ever so popular as of late. Ahead of the upcoming Reebok Shaq Attaq retro, the big man himself actually stopped by the Reebok Classics booth at Project trade show out in Las Vegas to put his stamp of approval on the sneakers. Swizz Beatz played host at what served as the official unveiling for the forthcoming style-introducing the shoe and then sitting down to interview Shaq about his Reebok deal, his basketball history, and even his brief stint as a rapper. The head of the Reebok Classics surge just showed off his daily sneaker rotation, and – you guessed it – it’s all Reebok. Starting with the upcoming Shaq re-issues like the Shaqnosis and Attaq to the more recent Kamikaze II drops, Swizz Beatz certainly puts his money where his mouth his by rocking the Bok exclusively! Tyga fans worldwide are still anticipating the release of his Reebok collaboration model the Reebok T-Rawws. Brand man Swizz Beatz doesn’t have to do any waiting of course, and he’s gone ahead and previewed yet another colorway for us in the form of this bright green pair. The Reebok T-Rawws was originally confirmed by Tyga as a December 2012 release but pairs have yet to materialize, so stay tuned with Sneaker News for the word on that. These days it’s difficult to mention the on-going Reebok revival without giving some credit to their brand-man Swizz Beatz. Swizz has been particularly enthusiastic in the social media realm, often showing off upcoming colorways and around the bend retros. Pictured here is the latest design he’s teased out-a Reebok Question featuring a sort of iridescent look and plenty of snakeskin treatment wrapping around the upper. At this point all we’ve got is a rendering, but there’s no doubt that Swizz has the clout to make it happen, so stay tuned for word on that. Earlier today Sneaker News gave you a look at what Swizz Beatz had selected for his 2012 AMA red carpet and on-stage appearances, and he certainly came through! On the red carpet, he wore the White/Black/Electric Blue OG colorway of the Shaq Attaq, and later switched to the Shaqnosis for his live performance with Ludacris and Chris Brown. The energy surrounding these 90′s Basketball classics is certainly heating up, so check out the on-feet shots of Swizz and the Shaqs and stay tuned for more updates from the Reebok Classics camp.
