Swizz Beatz x Reebok Time To Show Court

We saw one studded, strapped-up hightop sample back in July but aside from that teaser, to this point, Swizz Beatz’ collaboration with Reebok has focused almost entirely on the resurrected Kamikaze model.  Swizzy’s latest is far less familiar, yet equally fitting for the time: a black leather design with studs radiating along the heel, and they call it the Swizz Beatz x Reebok Time to Show Court.  One of the wordier names in recent memory, but these speak volumes along those ‘thousand word’ lines, so click through to get a better look at one of the wildest hightops this side of Jeremy Scott and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Reebok x Swizz Beatz release dates.  via Numelo

Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze Black Red Citron

Stay in the sneaker game for decades and you’ll develop a few signature colorways that many will instantly attribute to your brand. For Reebok, one of those colorways is the Black/Red/Citron lime colorway that was made famous on the Reebok Pump varieties over two decades ago, and it returns once again on arguably the most exciting Reebok sneakers in years – the Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze III. The upper combines a mix of the three tones with the white midsole housing the visible citron-lime honeycombed Hexalite cushioning unit. These have begun to drop at Reebok retailers so keep an eye out for these at your local retailer and check out the detailed gallery below. via mita-sneakers.

Reebok Kamikaze Carbon Steel Feather Blue | Release Info

Swizz Beatz’ collaborations
are probably the biggest thing that’s happened to Reebok during their post-Iverson era, Swizzy’s collaborations garnering interest from sneakerheads and casual fans alike.  The Grammy-winning producer’s biggest hit with RBK so far has been the resurrected Reebok Kamikaze, a model borrowed from a particularly strong period in the mid ’90s when Reebok had Shaq on its roster and Shawn Kemp was rocking these zig-zaggy midtops.  They look thoroughly new thanks to a revised silhouette and colorways tuned to today’s trends, this grey and Feather Blue edition a look that could stand as a reasonable time capsule pick for 2011.  Matching hoodies and snapback caps will also hit select RBK retailers this Friday, July 29th, so click through to see more and let us know if you plan to pick up Swizz Beatz’ latest Reebok Kamikaze.

Swizz Beatz x Reebok Studded Sample

Sneakers News gave you a firsthand look at the Reebok ‘Reethym of Light’ event, which featured celebrity collaborator Swizz Beatz and the new Kamikaze 2011. However, the Swizz Beatz x Reebok partnership isn’t a one-shoe deal; in May, we should you samples of a lifestyle-inspired high-top shoe which featured studded appliques on the two mid-foot straps as well as on the upper, which some of our readers called a ‘poor man’s Louboutin sneaker‘. Based on the positive response to the shoe, that comment was more of a compliment than a criticism, and as we get a look at this new grey colorway of the upcoming Swizz Beatz x Reebok shoe (still unnamed), it’s evident that Reebok and Swizz has some impressive tricks up their sleeves. Check out the extra image of this upcoming release after the jump and let us know if you’d consider rocking these! via Colmilludo.

Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze III Black Magic

Swizz Beatz
was just on stage to usher in the Reebok Lite collection, but his own choices of RBK collaborations come from nearly two decades before their eventual release.  The latest Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze utilizes a color scheme not all to dissimilar from the Chicago-style bred joints that just dropped, but the use of a black snakeskin and disco ball-like scored chrome sections make these look something closer to Dennis Rodman’s personal style than Michael Jordan.  Click through to see more of the appropriately named ‘Black Magic’ Kamikaze III and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Reebok x Swizz Beatz release dates.

Reebok Kamikaze III Fall 2011 Pre Order

Kanye West’s Nike Air Yeezy released in a mere three colorways back in 2009 (how many will we see from the Air Yeezy 2?), and despite the fact that those releases stretched over a period longer than the amount of time that’s elapsed since the first Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze, Swizzy has already managed to swipe the lead with the fourth and fifth releases pictured above.  The Reebok Kamikaze 2011 will hit retailers soon in two new looks, one adding teal accents to a grey/white base, the other going for a classic Chicago Bulls ‘away’ look.  You can see more images of both pairs when you click the jump below and consider pre-ordering a pair today from FinishLine.

Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze Black

Sneaker News showed you a few different rounds of preview images depicting June’s releases from the Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze, but somehow this model remained under wraps.  Swizzy’s blacked-out Kamikaze III Mid NC adds just a touch of formality via a patent leather toe, the rest of the leather and nubuck design otherwise fairly neutral if slightly rugged.  So in all ways except for the shiny toes, these are by far the least flashy Swizz Beatz-designed Kamikazes yet; but could they be the best?  Click through to see more angles and look for these at RBK retailers like Mr. R Sports starting next Friday, July 8th.

Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze June 2011 Releases Available Now

The fickle sneaker game will have brands fall in and out of relevance, but keep in mind that Reebok was a top contender during one of the best eras of footwear. But you have to give props where it’s due, because we haven’t seen a product roll-out quite as impressive and controlled as the Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze – a sneaker that many will say is long overdue. News of Swizz’s involvement stirred up excitement for Reebok and the sneaker community, and the 84-pair limited first drop had us more than just a little intrigued. Reebok’s connection with the hip-hop community isn’t something new either; in the earlier part of the last decade, Reebok featured a number of notable hip-hop stars like Jay-Z and 50 Cent/G-Unit with their own signature shoes. Today, June 10th, is the official wide release of the Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze, available in the Black/White/Orange and Grey/Neon colorways; priced at a fair $99, these will fly off the shelves fast, and most sizes have already been picked clean from the Reebok online store. If you’ve been looking to add some fresh flavor for your summer footwear rotation, continue reading for a full list of available spots and let us know if you plan on copping a pair of the Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze III!
