The Hundreds taps into traditional spring themes of rejuvenation and renewal for their latest footwear drop. Spring 2013 Delivery Two brings forth a series of styles inspired by the flora in which you’d look to hide while wearing the camouflage patterns that cover about half of the uppers. San Francisco’s Benny Gold hooks up with Los Angeles’ The Hundreds for a new collaborative project inspired by the former’s proximity to arguably America’s most famous span. The Benny Gold x The Hundreds Johnson Low ‘Golden Gate Bridge‘ features a rusty mix of patina and ostrich leathers designed to replicate the 75 year-old suspension’s unique color, while teal elements point to the Bay for which SF’s NorCal surroundings are named. They’ve even got grey-to-white faded laces to emulate SanFran’s notorious fog, and as you might expect from a design this detail-oriented, the cross-branding elements have been subtly hidden within. Benny Gold for The Hundreds might be the latter’s best footwear release to date, and they’ll be at the Bomb brand’s flagships on November 9th with an online release from BG the following Monday.

With its roots firmly entrenched at the leading edge of the streetwear scene, it’s no surprise that The Hundreds is jumping on board with the floral patterned trend. Vans has been doing it on and off for decades, Nike just realized that styles like those custom Stefan Janoskis from Salvation deserve a full release and now we see a classic skate-ish silo come into play as the ‘Tropic’ Hundreds Johnson Low prepares for its debut. The latest Blue Box series releases are limited to 150 pairs each, which will arrive at select retailers on Thursday, November 1st before the online drop at The Hundreds on Monday. Let us know which you prefer after examining both designs below and stick with Sneaker News for all your release date needs.

Israeli electronic music producers were strongly associated with the trance genre for the better part of the last two decades, but thanks to the mainstream success of producers like Skrillex over the past couple years, dubstep is now dropping all around the Mediterranean. With the popularity of the modern rave scene in mind, it’s been too long since the Deadmau5 x Puma collection, so Israel’s Borgore hooked up with the Bomb brand on a new pair of The Hundreds Johnson Lows. These couldn’t be any more ’2012′ if they had an ‘Obama/Romney’ theme, a dubstep remix of the popular leopard print style that’s arguably been this year’s most prominent trend. You’ll find them at The Hundreds in LA, SF, NY and Santa Monica next Thursday, July 26th along with selected additional retailers, so “Find a quiet place, sit comfortably on the ground,” and click through to see more from the Borgore x The Hundreds.

The Hundreds are in a unique position thanks to their increasing success during a time when other streetwear labels have found it more and more difficult to keep up with the industry leaders. This success has led, as it would in the case of nearly every successful business, to scaling up operations, and in the case of the Bomb brand, it’s their footwear that’s been the most significant addition in recent memory. This new drop might be the finest yet, The Hundreds Johnson Mid done up in selvage denim with leather on the toe and tongue. Everything about these, from the color scheme to brass eyelets and a golden leather tongue tag imparts the feel of premium jeanswear, and this pair will pop up in limited numbers as a ‘Blue Box’ release next Thursday, May 31st with an online drop following on Monday, June 4th.

Constantly expanding their empire, their footwear lineup has been one of the most consistently impressive portions of their catalog.
