Constantly expanding their empire, their footwear lineup has been one of the most consistently impressive portions of their catalog. The Hundreds Johnson Low is the baseline model, a clean lifestyle sneaker that we usually see with a leather upper, but the canvas remix is equally nice. Switching up the typical colorblocking, we see the heel panel coming in a contrasting cream colored suede. Where did all these sneaker to outerwear crossovers come from? It seems like everyday another brand drops an update on a go-to style featuring material selection that speaks to a trail ready sensibility. The Hundreds puts their two cents in here with the ‘Hiker Pack’, a combo of pieces featuring the Hundreds Johnson Mid and the new Riley High. A clean brown leather wraps the uppers, with metal d-rings lined up with red boot laces, all sitting on a caramel colored sole. Ever taken a pair of white canvas kicks and drawn your own custom designs? No offense, but the chances are infinitesimally small they’re better than these. Mark Dean Veca contributed to Nike Snowboarding’s Danny Kass signature boots last year and now he’s got an entire capsule with established streetwear label The Hundreds. The Mark Dean Veca x The Hundreds Johnson Mid features the titular artist’s handiwork in black atop a white base, his name alogn with a bomb insignia dual-branding the sockliners.
