Vans Vault has come through with some of the highest quality offerings from Off the Wall over the past four or so years, this latest colleciton for the holiday season including eight new pairs and zero exceptions to that generalization. Moving from low to high, we have the Vans Slip-On LX Snake with the named reptile texture providing a novel look for this oft-patterned lowtop. Two pairs of Era LX Flannels feature that fuzzy stuff on the sides sandwiched between leather heels and toes, while the Chukka Standard Issue LX keeps the leather just to its toes. Last but not least come two beige-soled Switchback LX Snakes whose scaly sections are strictly on the ankle collar. Images of all these await your click on the jump below, then you can find them at Vans Vault dealers including New York’s Vans DQM General store.

How can two things Vans has been doing for quite a while (chukka-flavored sneaker designs and floppy, deconstructed builds) come together as one? It’s as simple as the new Vans California Chukka Decon CA for Holiday 2011. This one’s about as close as you can get to the traditional desert boot without a crepe sole, Off the Wall, of course, opting instead for a waffle-tread vulcanized bottom that features an especially pronounced foxing band. It’s tonal on each pair, but provides a different look on tonal black pair than the red and brown editions, thanks to the latter pair’s contrasting soles. Arguably the sneaker responsible for the late ’00s proliferation of chukka boot-inspired designs, the Vans Chukka will return in a variety of simple yet satisfying colorways for the fall. Three of these four new Chukka Boots come in monochromatic suede with a white waffle sole, the only exception being a black leather edition that adds a matching vulcanized bottom to give them a stealthy look that stands out from the rest. We’ve been seeing more of these all-over looks from Off the Wall in recent years; do you prefer the classic white sole to a color-coordinated look? Check out more images after the jump and look for these at retailers like SNKRS.

Italian design has long been synonymous with top of the line materials, and in this collaboration between Vans and Italy Independent that tradition holds true. This special Vans Chukka comes in a tough mixture of Kevlar and oiled leather, resulting in a rich set of blacks laying over the shoe. This collaboration is a full package, with a hybridized American-Italian flag on the inside of the box and on the outsole graphics. The laces here carry the motto for this release “being independent means writing one’s own history”. The Italy Independent x Vans ‘Independent’ Chukka will be a limited release, with 600 pairs available exclusively through Italy Independent. Take a full look at the sneakers after the jump and let us know in the comments how you feel about this Italian-American collabo. via FreshNGood

It was about four years ago that we saw the first ‘Bones’ collaboration between Vans and Japanese brand WTAPS, and while we’ve seen these two companies work together in the intervening months, the above marks the only return to this Powell-leaning theme aside from a pair of Sherpa Sk8-His last winter. And in fact, WTAPS has their own in-house ‘Crossbones’ canvas lowtops out as of a couple weeks ago, but that does little to dampen the significance of this new WTAPS x Vans Burgundy Bones Pack. Consisting of the Vans Sk8-Hi, Era and Chukka Mid, the Burgundy Bones add white embroidery to a rich red base that’s sure to be a hit when they drop as an Asia-exclusive later this year. Click through to see more angles, let us know what you think and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their stateside availability including a possible US release date. via HS

Sneaker News has shown you high-profile collaborations with Vans this week, but Hello Kitty and Supreme (x2) aren’t the only ones out there designing Off the Wall colorways. Check out this new run of Vans releases for summer, most of which are from their classic lineup. We’ll start with a trio of Vans Half Cabs in monochromatic canvas uppers plus black tongues, laces and other details. Next up is a quartet of Authentics in similarly simple styles, plus one more in a white/navy two-toned look. The monochromatics resume with three new Old Skool ’77s, with the rarely seen Sk8-Lo coming along in three of its own. Two Chukka Lows and a pair of Woessners from the OTW Collection round out this set, and you can see more images by clicking on the jump below before you grab a pair or two from select Vans retailers like Primitive.

French denim masters A.P.C. have collaborated with Vans in two of the previous three years, and let’s go ahead and make that three of four including 2011. Today we have a first look at the upcoming Vans x A.P.C. collection, an unsurprisingly subtle set of sneakers that’s satisfying all the same. Four models include three new APC x Vans Authentics plus one new edition of the Chukka Mid they teamed up on late last year. Hot on the heels of the new Mike Carroll colorway we showed you is yet another upcoming collaboration between Supreme and Vans. We haven’t even gotten to see their pack of Old Skool lowtops hit retail yet and there’s already a Supreme x Vans Chukka on the way. These joints are crafted in a tonal black mix of canvas and tumbled leather and while their checkerboard heel stripe isn’t in line with the Old Skools, we can’t help but wonder if they’ll be merged into a larger pack release. Click through to get a better view and let us know how these compare to the growing library of Vans x Supreme sneakers, both past and impending. via GLLTN
