Vans Syndicateis an Off the Wall sublabel that specializes in collaborative designs both with outside influences and Vans’ own skaters, and the pack pictured above happens to have been created by one of each. Vans pro Anthony Van Engelen teamed up with fellow Alien Workshop rider Jason Dill to create one each of the Vans Authentic, Old Skool and Sk8-Lo, Van Engelen having created the first, Dill coming in on the Old Skools and both guys working together for the Sk8-Lo. Rodney Smith is one of the New York skating scene’s respected elders, having founded Shut on Orchard Street twenty-five years ago. Shut is among the few brands who build their decks here in the USA and that same commitment to quality has carried over to this Vans Syndicate x Rodney Smith collaboration. The Vans Native American O.G. ‘S’ and Old Skool O.G. ‘S’ both come in suede with tonal leather accents, the red Old Skools adding white contrast stitching where the Native Americans are entirely blue. Each adds the opposite color to its eye-placket tags and top eyelets and you can see more images after the jump before you buy yours from select Off the Wall retailers like Univ.

Sneaker News has shown you high-profile collaborations with Vans this week, but Hello Kitty and Supreme (x2) aren’t the only ones out there designing Off the Wall colorways. Check out this new run of Vans releases for summer, most of which are from their classic lineup. We’ll start with a trio of Vans Half Cabs in monochromatic canvas uppers plus black tongues, laces and other details. Next up is a quartet of Authentics in similarly simple styles, plus one more in a white/navy two-toned look. The monochromatics resume with three new Old Skool ’77s, with the rarely seen Sk8-Lo coming along in three of its own. Two Chukka Lows and a pair of Woessners from the OTW Collection round out this set, and you can see more images by clicking on the jump below before you grab a pair or two from select Vans retailers like Primitive.

Vans Authentics in simple canvas colorways are among the west coast’s quintessential footwear aesthetics and while the original waffle-soled lowtops are conspicuous by their absence in this pack, that in no way indicates that Off the Wall planned a dearth of woven cotton kicks this season. Quite the contrary, in fact, as you can see from this new Vans Canvas Pack, a collection of nine new styles spread across four of your favorite silhouettes including the immortal Half Cab, Old Skool, the Vans Surf Raglan and the Zero lowtops we showed you in-depth yesterday. A set so completely sick makes choosing the right pair pretty tough but we have more shots of each after the jump and you can buy one or all of them today from Premier.

Seeing four different cross-branded models previewed in recent weeks here on Sneaker News, we wondered what was going on between Supreme and Vans. It now seems much clearer that these are two distinct capsules united by their choice of materials and colorblocking. First up is a set of nine kicks spread between three Supreme x Vans Mike Carroll pro models plus six Old Skool collabos. Each of these nine are constructed in tonal suede and mesh with select accent hits, more the type of thing that you’d expect from retro runners than classic skate models. But even with the variance in material choices, the 1994 and 1977-born models (respectively) serve to offer a glimpse into skateboarding’s colorful past and they’ll hit Supreme’s NY and LA flagships along with their online store this Thursday, March 17th. via FRESHNESS
