Having been previewed back in March, the new design from Vans Vault pictured above has already appeared on Sneaker News more times than its predecessor. So already the Vans Vault Priz Lace II LX is off to a great start, this Sk8-Hi-derived silhouette ready to shine in its first trip to retail. Check these out in more angles after the jump and find yours at Vault stockists like the Vans x DQM General.

Even though its predecessor didn’t have the kind of household name recognition that would provide a context for its existence, a single glance at the above pictured model reveals its ties to the Vans archives. This new Vans Vault Priz Laced Hi II LX is half Sk8, half Old Skool, and bears the markings of Taka Hayashi’s influence on the original via its leather laces and generally rustic appearance on this tonal brown design. The white pair seems more like what we’d expect from the OTW Collection, which is to say this model can cover a pretty good stretch of ground, even with simple two-toned colorups. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for more in the future, and check out these first two pairs in the meantime. via FNG
