Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault “Palm Checker” Pack

Taka Hayashi’s latest twists on the Off the Wall legacy involves a couple of vulc soled standards applying a premium take on a familiar look. The Taka Hayashi x Vans Revere Hi and TH Cornice LX are the latest Vans to feature palm leaf prints, these Sk8-Hi and Chukka Boot variations looking comfortable with premium leather accents. The curious thing about this pack, and the reason it’s called ‘Palm Checker’ is because the medial answer to this leafy lateral print is the classic Vans checkerboard, which for whatever reason, has been omitted in both the Revere preview and these latest shots. We’d guess blue and white checks on the inner half but finding out for sure appears to be part of the fun of copping this latest Taka x Vans Vault drop scheduled for next month.
