Taka Hayashi’s curatorial role at Vans continues this summer with the release of the new “Suede Pack” of the TH Revere Hi LX. The design marries a couple disparate categories of sneakers, porting over the vintage suedes of older basketball models onto the Vans Sk8-Hi silhouette. From that the TH Rever Hi LX is born, a model that will be in stores for June of 2013 in two luxurious colorways of Black and Bossa Nova, retailing at $150 a pair. See both pairs right below and stay tuned for more exciting updates from the Vans Vault footwear capsule for the coming months.

It’s safe to say that Vans isn’t the first brand that pops into your head when you hear the phrase “boat shoe”. With that being said, they’ve been adapting cues from nautical footwear for a minute now with the Zapato Del Barco, and now bring that flavor onto the classic Vans Vault Sk8-Hi as well. We’ve got a look at two new releases of the Vans Vault Sk8 Hi Boat LX, which utilizes boat shoe style construction towards the toe that breaks away into the classic high-hitting back end of the Vans Vault Sk8 Hi. Get a look at both pairs after the jump and hit up End Clothing out in the UK to get your pair.

Set to hit retailers just in time for the fall season are three new pairs of the Sk8-Hi Standard Issue LX from the Vans Vault collection. The Stand Issue LX takes the Vans Classic Sk8-Hi and updates it with additional layered materials, namely a thick stripe obscuring the trademark wave that runs on the siding of most Vans models. The updates combined with the darker colorways from this drop form an overall smarter look, something a bit more serious that the typical Vans fare. A standout from this Fall 2011 collection is the Bracken Brown colorway, with a rugged palette featuring red corded laces that give off the feel of classic outerwear. Follow us after the jump to get a better look at all three of the Vans Vault Sk8-Hi Standard Issue LX models set to release for Fall 2011. via: Vans Vault

Vans was among the earliest sneaker brands to offer a deck shoe design with their del Barco series and now the look that’d been kept to those relatively new designs has been applied to one of the all time classics. Check out the Vans Vault Sk8-Hi Boat LX that’s gonna hit retailers in Q3. Their rich and earthy suede construction has the look of the fall season for which they’re releasing, the burgundy moc toe also evoking the ruggedness of a Red Wing workboot. But this is a boat shoe, not a steeltoe, so we get the choice of leather laces in brown or orange to finish off the theme.
