If you connected the proper dots you might have: Disney owned property Marvel is also working with the skate shoe company in 2013, a project hinting that some more core Disney IP would be getting thrown onto some sneakers. The sneakers in question are the Vans Sk8-Hi and the Vans Authentic; the intellectual property in question characters like Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, and Donald Duck. Taka Hayashi’s curatorial role at Vans continues this summer with the release of the new “Suede Pack” of the TH Revere Hi LX. The design marries a couple disparate categories of sneakers, porting over the vintage suedes of older basketball models onto the Vans Sk8-Hi silhouette. From that the TH Rever Hi LX is born, a model that will be in stores for June of 2013 in two luxurious colorways of Black and Bossa Nova, retailing at $150 a pair. Sole Classics x Vans Vault – Teaser

An upcoming collaboration between the premium Vans Vault label and Sole Classics of Columbus, OH is in the works, and although the details are a bit limited, we do know that this project is titled “Carmen” and some custom insoles are the in the works. On the left shoe you’ll see the classics Vans logo with the Sole Classics emblem, while the right shoe features “Never give up your dreams”. Sole Classics hints at an unveiling going down “sooner than you think”, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates and we’ll keep you on top of this exciting collaborative release.
