Wale will inevitably secure every single pair of the Nike Air Foamposite One. It’s just a fact of life at this point. Proving that, the Maybach Music Group rapper recently rocked one of last year’s more coveted pairs, the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘ParaNorman’, courtside at a Washington Wizards game. He even kept them on post game for a one-on-one against Wizards owner Ted Leonsis. Continue reading for more of Wale in this special release from the Nike Air Penny line and ponder this while you’re perusing the pics: What’s rarer, a pair of ‘ParaNorman’ Nike Air Foamposite Ones or a Washington Wizards win? Let us know what you think of the strange convergence of these two anomalies in the comments below.

The Big Sean x adidas Originals Pro Model ‘Detroit Player’ was a rather tough release to grab thanks to the regional nature of their rollout and the fact that only 380 pairs are in existence. Of course, rapper Wale is totally unfamiliar with the term “tough release to grab” when it comes to sneakers. The man was recently spotted rocking the Big Sean collab on stage, flashy gold dubrae and all, at a private concert put on by adidas Football. Get a quick recap from the concert below and stay tuned to see if Wale continues to sport adidas on the regular.

For as much we see Wale sporting some fancy sneakers, it’s not too often that he pops up in an adidas creation. Apparently the MMG rapper has decided to broaden his horizons a bit, putting his stamp of approval on the adidas Top Ten 2000 in the ‘Lakers’ colorway from the recent ‘City Pack’. Now that Mr. DMV himself is on board with this retro silhouette, any chance we’ll see the adidas team cook up a DMV tribute? Stay tuned with Sneaker News to see how that story develops and check out this Wale adidas sneaker sighting after the jump.

Wale has debuted plenty of sneakers before, this one perhaps making more sense than most thanks to his and Kevin Durant’s geographic connection. Pictured is Wale showing off his pair of the Nike KD V ‘DMV’, one of the first few colorways that should hit for the silhouette following the NIKE iD debut. The pair mixes in plenty of details paying tribute to the state of Maryland as well as the microcosm community of Washington DC within said state. Click through for the full shot of Wale and let us know if you’re feeling the Nike KD V ‘DMV’ yet.

Nas and Wale: two rappers who are both regulars at the Heineken Red Star Access events and in our celebrity feet category. The latest sees them converging again, the free concert series touching down in Philadelphia and bringing the both of these esteemed rappers on stage. Both had Jordan Brand selections for the day, Nas beating Wale at his own game with an early pair of the Jordan Spiz’ike and Wale bringing out the Air Jordan II ‘Doernbecher’. Click through with us for a quick photo recap from the scene and let us know whose sneaker selection you respect more this time around.

Wale gets his sneakers early, you know this already. But the MMG affiliated rapper has a special connection with one Kevin Durant, perhaps affording him even more of a jump on the rest of us when it comes to the Nike Zoom KD releases. That connection would be a regional one, both men are Washington DC natives and Kevin Durant has even popped up on Wale’s mixtapes from time to time. The connection is flexed here as Wale shows off a super bright yellow and blue pair of the Nike Zoom KD IV that hasn’t hit retail as of yet (although there’s still a possibility of that so don’t give up hope). Click through with us to check out the pair and let us know if you’re hoping to pick them up in the future.

Who would have thought that Wale would be the guy to show off a new Foamposite design before anyone else? Just about everyone in the world. The latest thing Mr. Folarin is putting on display is quite a doozy, a Nike Flightposite hybrid of sorts that gets an air bag on bottom, a model we previously showed you via catalog scan that’s known as the Nike I-95 Posite Max. Interestingly enough this pair also features some ACG branding on the tongue, a little detail that sort of pushes them a bit more towards the Goadome ACG Boot that Wale rapped about on that mixtape smash “Nike Boots”. Click through for this latest look at the Nike I-95 Posite Max and tell us what you think in the comments below.
