Is there any realm of sneakerdom that MMG’s Wale doesn’t have on lock? From the frequent Foamposite sightings to the latest in Air Jordans, the man seems to have it all. Of course the rapper has also kept his Nike SB collection on prominent display, showing up in some of the rarest gems from the golden era of SB Dunks. He’s done it again here, rocking the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Tiffany’ at the 5th Annual Villa Classic along with the Canadian tuxedo look. Follow us after the jump for some extra shots and let us know whether or not this ups the pedigree of Wale’s sneaker game.

Was there ever any doubt that DMV rapper Wale would eventually show up here rocking the Air Jordan XI Concord? His crazy collection has been documented on this website, as well as in his own referential lyrics, so it was only a matter of time before he popped up rocking the most sought after Air Jordan release from 2011. Never one to OD with a matching fit, Wale rocks an all-grey sweatsuit here and a jumbo Versace scarf obscuring his face a little bit. MMG representative Wale recently performed live at the Best Buy theater in New York City to help celebrate the One Year Anniversary of The Power 105.1 ‘Breakfast Club’. Wale, who has displayed quite the affinity for Nike LeBrons (PEs, for that matter), stunned the crowd by rocking the Nike LeBron 8 ‘James Dean’, or better known as the ‘Denim’ sample that surfaced some time ago. The James Dean-inspired samples were actually designed by fellow Nike LeBron aficionado DJ Clark Kent, who not only boasts quite the LeBron collection himself, but gets to color-coordinate a few pairs himself. Check out Wale and his LeBron after the jump and let us know what your favorite ‘unreleased’ Nike LeBron is. via alleyesonwho.

Wale’s name is always mentioned when discussing celebrity sneakerheads, even by other celebrities. In fact, last week, Wale’s name came up when NBA baller Jarrett Jack talked about kicks, and he claimed to have a better collection than the DMV-based rapper. While any sort of competition hasn’t risen, Wale has continued to show off his best kicks – in this case, the Air Jordan IV ‘Doernbecher’ that dropped earlier this month. He wore them during a performance in mid-November for The Daily Habit on FuelTV. Check out the video as well as some stills of Wale wearing his kicks after the jump.

Wale’s sneakerhead-ism isn’t only evident in his sick collection of kicks, but also in his infusion of his footwear passion into his music. Wale has made many a reference to his favorite kicks in some of his songs, emphasizing the exclusivity of some of his collection (for example, “I got Phil Knight talkin’ about ‘How you got them?’” and “My girls and my SBs, I got a thing for…”), or simply noting some classics, like the Air Trainer SC or the Air Jordan VI. Complex recently put together a ‘guide’ of sorts, pointing out many of Wale’s lyrical references to sneakers, so check out some of his sneaker mentions below and head to Complex for the entire feature, and let us know if you have better interpretations of Wale’s sneaker lyrics!

Even Wale knows he has to come hardest when he’s in NYC. Wale, who is currently touring across the nation promoting his new album ‘Ambition’, stopped by J&R by City Hall to meet and greet fans and autograph copies of the CD. He showed up wearing the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Miami Hurricanes’, a sneaker that won’t drop until the last weekend of the month. After the signing, he performed live at the Highline Ballroom wearing an equally dazzling pair of the LeBron 9s – the ‘China’ that dropped in Asia last month. Check out Wale and his LeBron 9s below and let us know which of the two you like better!

A little SN logic: If you are from the DMV, then you like Foamposites. Wale is from the DMV. Therefore, Wale likes Foamposites. Wale was in “the city of hella haters” yesterday performing live (and offering a live broadcast of his show via ustream) at the House of Blues while rocking the latest Foamposite release – the Nike Total Air Foamposite Max in Metallic Silver. Wale, who is active on twitter, posted before, during, and after tweets from the concert while showing off an “on-feet” pic of his Foams (c’mon, we’ve all done the foot-in-the-air camera phone shot). Think you can rock these Foams better than Wale can? Check out the extra shot below and let us know what you think. via NT.

Maybach Music Group member Wale was recently spotted shopping for kicks at Philadelphia’s Sole Control while sporting the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 in Solar Red. Those V/2 Lows have proven to be one of Wale’s recent favorites, as he’s worn them on a number of occasions. According to Sole Control, Wale left the shop with two purchases – the Air Jordan XVI in the OG Ginger colorway, and a pair of Original Nike Air Max 96s. It appears that he had some interest in the OG Nike Air Diamond Turf 2s as well! Check out Wale after the jump and if you’re in the Philly area, be sure to check out Sole Control because they’ve clearly got a sick selection of kicks!
