Nike Zoom Kobe IV - Venom

Kobe Bryant is definitely one of the biggest names in the basketball world today, and stands as one of the all-time greats of the sport.  The recent release of his Zoom Kobe IV heralded one of the very rare occasions a player has chosen a low top model for their signature shoe, and Kobe’s status as the dynamic force that he is has helped to legitimize this choice of kicks.  Definitely a stylistic success, this latest “Venom” colorway is apparently designed with the poisonous lethality of the Black Mamba snake in mind- Kobe’s on court performance is just as lethal as the deadly snake’s venom, and these shoes well reflect that.  In addition to its serpentine inspiration, the shoe also draws imagery from Venom, the Spiderman villain.  It appears that Kobe will be wearing these kicks in his game against the Miami Heat; his choice of such a sick colorway as the on-court debut of his signature shoe is definitely a wise choice!  The shoe will be dropping only in Miami and Los Angeles, so if you live in either city, don’t sleep on these!  Via NiceKicks.
