We gave a quick glimmer of the Bionic Project, consisting of the collaborative works of Hanon, New Balance and textile progressive, Eschler Switzerland. While the video clipped gave a nice tour of the production, we now can show you the two NB 576‘s that are the end result.
The “Majors” pair will feature white, grey and hits of blue, while the “Austin” features grey, an olive-grey and hits of yellow. Both pairs have the same tooling of suede with leather, along with Eschler’s patented ceramic printed fabric for the vamp and ankle panel. The textile is not just a unique pattern of large dots, but rather an innovative concept of polyurethane-based coating embedded with diamond-hard ceramic particles. Consequently, a fabric that’s ceramic printed is significantly more durable and can withstand much more abrasion without compromising. In other words, these shits is tough. The overall design is topped off with insoles of their respective accent colors with Hanon branding. With its practical composition in mind, wait not much longer for these to be your next beaters.
