A few nights ago we left our readers a nice Air Jordan VI Infrared vs. Varsity Red comparison, and a surprising amount of readers warmed up to the White/Varsity Red colorway that is set to drop in June. Many acclaimed the white leather upper as the key component of that Retro, making the off-by-a-few Varsity Red color-blocking an afterthought. Here’s a comparison of the the black counterpart of the AJVI, pitting the January 2010 retro with the Infrared that is set to drop as part of the Air Jordan VI Infrared Pack. Unfortunately the Infrared Retro doesn’t stay true to its roots, as a suede upper is used in favor of Durabuck that gave the 2000 retro a more ‘solid’ feel.
