Nike Basketball designer Leo Chang is one of the brilliant minds behind this year’s breakout success, the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse. Turns out, Chang is also the designer behind the Nike Zoom Kobe Dream Season II, the follow up to last year’s Kobe takedown debut. Keeping with the recent trend in Kobe’s Nike BB sigs, the Dream Season II has a low cut and features Flywire-reinforced side panels. Last year’s XDR sole is replaced by another super-durable rubber composite, this time with a new traction pattern to further improve durability. Forefoot Zoom Air cushioning makes for a smooth ride, while the toe is reinforced in a variety of ways to ensure a long life. Quite impressive for a ‘value’ priced sneaker, the Dream Season II will continue to release in new colorways for the Asia-Pacific market, so stick with Sneaker News for updates and click the jump below to watch Leo break down its construction.
