Seeing four different cross-branded models previewed in recent weeks here on Sneaker News, we wondered what was going on between Supreme and Vans. It now seems much clearer that these are two distinct capsules united by their choice of materials and colorblocking. First up is a set of nine kicks spread between three Supreme x Vans Mike Carroll pro models plus six Old Skool collabos. Each of these nine are constructed in tonal suede and mesh with select accent hits, more the type of thing that you’d expect from retro runners than classic skate models. But even with the variance in material choices, the 1994 and 1977-born models (respectively) serve to offer a glimpse into skateboarding’s colorful past and they’ll hit Supreme’s NY and LA flagships along with their online store this Thursday, March 17th. via FRESHNESS
