The Air Jordan XIV is synonymous with Michael Jordan’s ‘Last Shot’ – the go-ahead jumper that won Michael his sixth NBA Championship in six full seasons. Designed after his Ferrari, the Air Jordan XIV is considered to be the ‘sleekest’ design, using swift lines and stitch patterns that accentuated the sexy form of the shoe. Throw in the rubber heel, the wing spoiler on the tongue, and the aggressive ‘body kit’ and you have the perfect ending to Michael’s illustrious Chicago Bulls career. After an original release in 1998, the Air Jordan XIV was re-released in 2005 in a number of Original and Retro colorways, and in October 2011, the XIV returns once more in this Georgetown Hoyas colorway of Light Graphite, Midnight Navy, and Black. The grey nubuck upper features contrasting materials – smooth and pebbled – with the midsole adopting the black/midnight navy combination. It’s almost like a rearrangement of colors of the Air Jordan XIII Flint, but still an all-new colorway in its own right. Expect these this October, so check out the detailed images and let us know what you think. via MN.
