Penny Hardaway’s career was cut short due to injury, but his legacy continues to persevere on the strength of his signature line with Nike. With the Nike Air Foamposite being the hot shoe of the moment, 2009’s Nike Air 1/2 Cent being such a huge hit, and the upcoming Zoom Rookie LWP stirring up excitement, no end is in sight for the Nike Air Penny line. In what might be a long overdue release, Nike Sportswear is teaming up with one of its most successful pitchmen to put out a special Nike Air Force 1 Low, which features certified Penny Hardaway insignia and trademarks, like the 1-cent logo on the heel, the pinstriped tongue (seen on the Nike Air Max Penny), and the detailed lines on the swoosh (also from the Air Max Penny). No word on release information just yet, but stick with Sneaker News for more updates and let us know what you think of the Penny Hardaway x Nike Air Force 1 Low. via Iam1Cent.
