We’re glad Michael Jordan never tried skate-boarding, but if he did attempt a run at the local skate-park, would he have rocked the SB Dunk Low ‘Space Jam’? We first saw the Air Jordan XI ‘Space Jam’ when Michael debuted the Air Jordan XI during the 1995 NBA Playoffs (of course, they weren’t called the Space Jam back then), and in a surprising move, the shoe was used as the inspiration behind this Nike SB Dunk Low release (though it wasn’t the first Air Jordan inspired SB Dunk design). With the patent leather upper, nylon panels, and thick roped laces, it’s obvious what Nike SB had in mind when designing these, and the excitement behind these quickly built up when we first showed ’em a few months back. SB Dunks typically don’t have set release dates, but select Nike SB accounts have stuck by a July 23rd release date, so watch for these to hit Nike SB spots like Primitive tomorrow, or grab yours now on eBay.
