College football’s first week was all about the University of Maryland’s wacky Under Armour jersey and helmet combos, but one of the key subplots in all that discussion of mesh was how Nike essentially built the Oregon Ducks’ football program from scratch on the backs of some of the dopest uniforms collegiate sports have ever seen. You know UO is gonna keep getting impressive new looks all season, but they’re clearly not alone, as we have proof of at least five more schools with new looks on the way, along with special Nike Trainers to match. And seeing how this is Sneaker News and not Paul Lukas’ Uni Watch, we’re going to focus on the Trainers built for Army, Navy, LSU, OSU and Stanford. The Nike Trainer 1.3 Free makes its debut with these five college football PEs, colorways ranging from edgy takes on the schools’ classic colors to a sick all-wheat getup for the Black Knights. Have a look at each pair after the jump, let us know which is best, and if your favorite school’s colors would go well with this new design. via Nike Football
