With the Air Max+ 2012 starting to hit retailers over the past week or so, word of a Nike Running flagship hitting NIKEiD would lead you to believe it meant the follow up to last year’s February 1st debut for the 2011s. And while an AM2012 iD might indeed not be far away, it’s not that model that we’re discussing, but rather a return for the model that marked the reboot for the annual numbering system. The Flywire-equipped Nike Air Max+ 2009 is a modern classic and now returns to NIKEiD after a little under three years away. That’s a pretty rapid turnaround for the first ‘retro’ release, so much like the continued infatuation customizers show for the LeBron 8, this shoe is an impeccable design whose plethora of options necessitates another look. Combined with new options like a toe-to-heel gradient and a ton of new colors and the second round feels just as fresh as the first. A bunch of sample pairs await your click below, so let us know which is best and check these out before the January 27th release date sneaks up on us.
