Puma’s 2009 Japanese Monster Pack remains one of the most fully realized themes executed on a set of sneakers, but the German Cat clearly isn’t satisfied without more aggressive and foreboding designs out in the market. They went straight to the jugular on this one, bypassing specific muses in favor of a name that evokes the entirety of what’s hiding under your bed at night: Puma Beast Mid. This ‘Camo’ Beast Mid features a patterned underlay that’s somewhere between traditional four-color desert pattern and the streaky rain camouflage prints, but you might not even notice them at first glance thanks to the elaborate leather lattice overlay.
