Nike Barkley Posite Max “Area 72”

The 2013 All-Star Collection just wouldn’t be complete without a Foamposite shoe, but instead of the Air Foamposite One, Nike has decided to use this high-profile platform to introduce the latest Foamposite-based hybrid model – the Nike Barkley Posite Max. Combining the essence of two of Nike’s longest-running signature lines, the Barkley Posite Max captures trademark details of Barkley’s signature shoes, with the Foamposite upper bringing in Penny Hardaway’s influence on the shoe. The outer-space themed colorway adds to the eccentric effect, with a wild confetti-graphic upper being paired with reflective paneling, glow-in-the-dark outsoles, and a gorgeous interior lining. Is this a worthy follow up to the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’? Let us know in the comments below and keep your eye out for a release at select Nike Sportswear retailers on February 14th.
