Where the Jordan Flight Club 80s borrowed heavily from the Air Jordan IV, it seems that the pattern for the series is to take a signature feature of the coinciding shoe and blow it up to an entirely new proportion on the silhouette. For proof, take the Jordan Flight Club ’90 which sees the Air Jordan III‘s signature elephant print hit with a 3M treatment from another early 90s release in the Air Jordan V across the upper’s entirety.
