The 2013 NBA season has given us a plethora of story lines to salivate over as basketball fans; from the top-heavy Eastern Conference battles of the Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat to the surprising arrival of the Portland Trail Blazers in a talent-heavy West, and the on-feet selections of an ever-growing sneaker savvy league, these gripping stories have only matched how unpredictable the season has been thus far. On the sneaker side of things there was a lot more to take note of, like LeBron’s inability to wear his latest signature, teammate Ray Allen laying down his reign with incredible Air Jordan PEs, Kevin Durant and the KD 6 leading the low-cut basketball shoe brigade, and much more.
LeBron’s initial troubles with the LeBron 11 made unwanted headlines for Nike, but the surprising number of players that stepped up to showcase the Nike LeBron 11 around the league (thanks to the likes of DeMarcus Cousins and Eric Bledsoe) kept the shoe as relevant as ever. Carmelo Anthony returned to his roots in an enticing Jordan Melo 1.5 “Knicks” PE, while his running mate Iman Shumpert became the go-to guy for adidas’ Retro-style for the court. So without further ado, stick with us after the click to see the top 25 best sneaker selections (in random order) for the current 2013 NBA season before the turn of the calendar year, and be sure to check all of our NBA Feet coverage as the season progresses.
