Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault Spring 2014 Collection

Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault Spring 2014 Collection

Taka Hayashi Vans Vault Spring 2014 01 570x399

There’s no reason to think the partnership between Japanese born designer Taka Hayashi and California’s Off the Wall skate shoe brand Vans would end any time soon.  These two have successfully partnered on Vans Vault sneakers with each season for so long now, he’s moving into that rarefied category with Hiroshi Fujiwara, John Varvatos, Jeremy Scott and Yohji Yamamoto who’ve been at it with a single brand for upwards of a decade or more.  All of these guys are famous for their own takes on established favorites, and Taka exhibits just that appeal with the new slightly cap-toed Vans Vault Sk8-Mid, another set of remixes on the Sk8 with his Court Hi and Lo, and the totally TH-original Derby 2 gets covered in the vintage palm leaf print.  This spring collection should be at select Vans Vault retailers shortly; which pair do you like best?
