Supra Magazine “St. Patrick’s Day”

Just about a month ago, Sneaker News showed you the first delivery from the latest from Lil Wayne’s Supra SPECTRE collection.  The Supra Magazine is another bold hightop design from the Crown brand that seems to draw on early ’90s basketball, much as the Skytop III had.  But instead of just referencing a period, the side panel construction and ventilated ankle molding along with a pronounced tongue and lower, looped heel — this shoe, like Avenger with the Air Jordan IV before it, owes a heckuva lot to the Air Jordan VI.  Now, there’s never been any green anywhere on any AJ6s outside of that insanely rare XX8DaysOfFlight giveaway, so this ‘St. Patrick’s Day’ Magazine with the gold heel is a fine proof of this shoe’s unique identity.  Click in to see more, then cop yours this Saturday at select Supra retailers.
