The term “Gone Fishing” coined by the NBA on TNT crew, refers to NBA playoff teams that have been trounced from the Playoffs. It makes complete sense that these Foamposites release after the Finals are all neatly wrapped up, and it’s a bit of a jab to Penny Hardaway, who never went far in NBA postseason play after the ’95 season.
