Jordan Brand Rewinds 30 Years With the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard”

Jordan Brand is digging deep into the legend of His Airness for this release. The Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” is slated to release this Saturday, June 27th for $160. Based on a nearly forgotten 1985  exhibition game in Trieste, Italy where Michael Jordan shattered a glass backboard during one of his acrobatic dunks, the orange and black color choices match the game jerseys worn that day. This Air Jordan 1 boasts a color blocking similar to the Black Toes, only with a Team Orange shade arriving in place of the usual University Red splashes on the ankle collar, outsole and toebox.
